Beautiful campground. Everyone was friendly especially the camp host.

Great location, if don't mind the high price tag associated with even tent camping area...beautiful country and water is clean and very pretty

This is a nice State Park. The cabins were great for us and our weekend stay. The fishing was great The first couple of days. However, the water was being let down and the dock was only at about a foot of water the 3rd day. If you visit this area and want fishing or swimming, you will want to visit earlier in the year than September. The camp area was very slow and the staff was rarely seen due to the slowness. The restrooms were clean and the showers were accessible. The shower house is a ways from the camp loop that the cabins were at but still available.

This place is perfect for camping especially with kids. We stayed in the cabins, and they were great. They have a for those hot summer days. There's plenty of parking close by. There's a playground right below the cabins. Access to the boat launch and mooring dock is within walking distance. There's a shower house in the campground next to Freeman Creek.

Huge campground and camping spaces are pretty well spaced, not on top of each other. There is some shade throughout park. Clean restrooms and free showers. Pit toilets also throughout park. Plenty open areas for groups and activities. Some sites have water and power but others are just power.

Love Freeman Creek. The tent sites are tucked in among trees with great views. Very peaceful.

We always have a good time here but the swimming area is mucky yucky best to have a boat or raft or paddle boards/floats. We stay in the group loop with our large family

Very nice sites and lots of presence of staff. They drove by sites too fast.

Really great campground, very clean, decently quiet. They have ice and wood at the entrance. Lake is great besides all the mud so be aware of that. The shore is basically mud and grass so be prepared to sink in some mud till you can’t reach the bottom anymore. Then it’s less icky. Fishing didn’t seem to be great unless you had a boat. There’s the big eddy trail that goes from the campground all the way to big eddy recreation area, 9 miles one way. Very pretty. We got no cell service with at&t but that’s okay. I’d bring whatever you need if you camp here, the closest store is about 40-ish mins away. Go check out the Dam if you have extra time the visitor center was nice and clean and the kids enjoyed it.

Beautiful campground. I’ve been going to freeman creek campground for 26 years! It’s always clean, the campsites are wonderful, and of course being able to bring your boat and go out on the reservoir is something you don’t get at many campgrounds in Idaho!
