Maybe it’s the time of year but it was too buggy for us to stay there. Also went to take a dip in the lake and stepped in thorns along the beach (got 7 in the bottom of my foot!) and turned around when I got to the water cause it was too murky.

$7!! For a day pass!! I don't think u should b charged JUST to go into a park. I can understand charging 4 camping but $7 is ridiculous. AND $35 for a NON- ELECTRIC Tent site?!! The place is beautiful but I can't get behind the prices. Plus, a couple of the"lakes" as they call them, are actually private so this isn't really a place for tourist's.. seems like they want the lakes/ponds to themselves around there lol. oh, AND they charge u to take showers!! Kinda a scam park. Update: Forgot about the roads..u almost HAVE to have a vehicle with a lift kit to travel them.. they are absolutely horrible. I hate leaving bad reviews on parks but this one deserves it.. sorry

Nice small lake for a quick camping trip. Our sites were next to water, so we could pull boat right up to the campsite. If anything, I would come back just for that reason. It wasn't crowded on a weekday. I'm not sure if just got lucky.
