Miller Lake ... This is a beautiful fresh water lake in Southern Oregon. Nice boat ramp, and adjacent camp ground with 60+ sites. We enjoyed the day-use area where we soaked in the sun. On our visit here, a group of biologists were testing the tributaries into Miller Lake for lamprey populations. They asked if we wanted to watch, and of course, we did. They did find some, as they are making a comeback to the lake. The species is specific to this lake only. OPB did a special about them. We observed people hiking and running on the trails around the lake. There is about a distance of 12 miles on a gravel road off hwy 97 to the lake. It could get really dusty.

Came here to quickly take my dog for a walk on our roadtrip. Area with plenty of parking and a few picnic tables. Looks like there were two bathroom stalls as well. It's summertime so no snow, but looks like there is access here to snowmobile routes!

I love Miller Lake!

It's a rest area with a lot of cars making a lot of noise. So not likely a place to get any sleep
