Its position on the South Island Highway ensures easy access to the downtown core while remaining close to the waterfront and coastal mountain views.

The rooms are always immaculate. The housekeeping department is outstanding. The owners are outgoing and friendly. I always feel safe here.

This hotel mostly only rents to company accounts. No Tourists (tho, provided there is room, they are always welcoming and accommodating to anyone in the event of an emerg) Tourists and weekend stays aren't a thing here. Workers only. The bad reviews posted in the last year or so are likely from my disgruntled, miserable neighbor. 😆

For those heading to or from North Vancouver Island the Friendship Inn is perfectly located and a bargain. The rooms are clean and have all the expected amenities. I always feel welcome - the motel's name is very fitting.

Stay here very often on our way up island. Great host, always clean and good wifi. This place books up often as people who travel the area often know it is by far the best value in the area.

We stayed with Wayne and his brother at the Friendship Inn RV Park back in August. Wayne is incredibly knowledgeable about Vancouver Island and the Campbell River area, giving us great advice on places to visit and things to do. Both brothers are great, friendly, welcoming hosts. They were very accommodating of our big dog, as well. They seem to take good care of the property. Bathrooms were clean and warm. Nightly rates in the RV park are decent. We would absolutely stay here again if we ever make it back to Campbell River.
