I'm so glad I finally got to camp here. It was so worth it. The sites are full hook up with excellent wifi. It looks like most of the sites are pull thru. There's a nice bathhouse with hot water. And there was a babbling stream that ran next to the campsite where I saw deer drink from more than once. The fog on the mountain in the morning was so pretty. Everyone I met was very nice. But best of all, its a short bike ride from the campground to the entrance of the New River Trail. The trail is wide and flat. And you are surrounded by the beauty of the river and mountains with every mile you ride. I can't wait to go back.

This rv park, campgrounds, is one to put on your list to come check it out. Clean, full grown trees, creek through it, bathrooms clean and large, well lit at night and right next to the New River bike trail. Wanted to give a shout out to the camp hosts, Matt and Sherry, they were the best. We spent one night at one sight and had to move for the next 2 nights and they worked their magic and got us in a very nice sight for the remainder of our stay. They were as nice and helpful as could be. Thank you!! If you’re interested in any of these things this is a must see and do trip. The New River bike trail is one for the ages with trusses, bridges, tunnels, rapids and waterfalls there is know better way to see the New river than on this trail. Excellent spot for relaxing vacation. The creek that runs through the property was extremely peaceful to listen to. The river was right across the road with a very short walk. This was my first time visiting with my in-laws and I can't wait to come back. My son loved playing in the creek. Very well kept place.

We stay at a lot of RV parks. This one is easily one of the cleanest and most meticulously maintained parks we’ve ever been in. The sites are large and private. Everything is well groomed, and the road and sites are level. Booking was a little bit different, as the owner just had us use Zelle to send payment and then text message confirmation, but that was probably also the most efficient check in process I’ve seen yet. This place is a hidden gem. There is absolutely nothing to do in that town or any of the towns around it, except maybe antique Hunt. That said, if you need a few days to just unplug and sit in serene surroundings and relax, this is your place.

The Fries New River RV Park was such a lovely find! It was right across the street from the riverfront park and trail access. We really enjoyed biking and kayaking. The RV park is extremely clean, quiet, and has spacious lots. We had so much space on site 18, which was up the hill more secluded from the waterfront sites. Tom was so easy going, friendly, and responsive. We reserved another stay in the fall before we even left. I can’t wait to come back!
