Good park. Bathrooms old but clean. The sites are quite higgly piggly due to the terrain and some are pretty close together.

This is a very pretty park. It has nice hiking trails deep into the woods with lots of foliage. Some of the sites are difficult to back into so be careful which ones you select by looking at the park map. There is a playground here lots of sports Courts. The bathrooms are very clean and it’s right next to alike or river actually. At night, we could hear some big pump engines running perhaps at the nearby marina but the low of those engines was a little annoying. It stopped before midnight. We had 50 amp service with water at our site 57. There were lots of classes parked in loop one we were in loop three and we’re quite happy with our 31 foot trailer and a truck fitting nicely.

We camped in Site012 are Whitten Park in January 2025, and we couldn't be happier about our stay. Keep in mind we were the only visitors at this time. Restrooms were well maintained and very clean, dump station was easily accessible, and the views were FANTASTIC! The campground is pet friendly and easy to maneuver your RV through. We will be back!

Very nice park with most sites heavily wooded. Each site has a mostly level cement pad, large picnic area with fire pit, grill, picnic table, and lantern hook. 50/30 amp and water at each site. Many sites overlook the water. There is a path that runs along the shoreline, ending at the beach. There are several fishing piers, gazebo and a swing along the path. Fishing piers are dated. There are 3 loops, each with a shower and flush toilets. Dump conveniently located near the exit.

What a beautiful campground! We found Jamie Whitten Park/Fulton Recreation Campground in Fulton, Mississippi, by accident. We are traveling home to Arkansas from Tampa (post Milton), and we were just looking for a place to stop for the night. I found this place on RV Life. This is a COE (Core of Engineers) campground. Cost is very reasonable ($30. / night) if you are a senior and have a senior Federal park pass, it's only $15./night. We are staying for 3 nights! This park is located on the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway, which is a lock system joining the 2 rivers. So the park is right on the water. Our space is about 50 yards from the waters edge. There are several docks and boat launches in the area, and a Marina is about half a mile down the road. There is a public boat launch and several picnic pavilions before the entrance to the park. Really, you need to check this place out! There are spaces for RVs, trailers, and tent camping. Most (maybe all?) spaces have electric and water hookups. There is a dump station on the way in. All spaces have concrete level pads. There are large green spaces for kids to play and extra parking for extra cars. There are nice restrooms and bath houses on each of the three loops, with abt 20 parking/camping spaces per loop. Also, there are bike trails as well as walking paths to the docks and waters edge.

Plenty off docks, nice hiking areas to. The fishing here is extremely good and would recommend coming here. I wish I could give it 4 and a half stars just does not go above and beyond.

Such a wonderful park! Asphalt hiking trails with bridges, park for the kids, basketball court, swimming beach and fishing docks. We stayed in site 9, a pull through site all concrete with water and electric. A really nice park and the camp host was amazing!

My family had sites 17 and 18..I had reserved both for 2 nights but unfortunately since we were in tents we packed up a day early due to stormy weather conditions heading our way. The bathrooms were excellently cleaned, the sites were spacious and well shaded. The time we spent was well enjoyed. The staff, especially Marcy (hopefully I spelled that correctly) were very friendly and available for any questions or just a friendly wave. We'll definitely be back to the campground and I recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful get away.

What a great place to camp. Registration online makes check in and check out so easy. I was running late and they even called me with check in instructions. All the sites are easy to get in and out of. The water was very clean. Most places you have to run the water a bit before connecting. Very quiet at night. The bathhouses were very well kept and clean.
