Highly recommend this KOA! Autumn was driving by in her golf cart and I asked her if the store had an adapter I’d been looking for. She said “I’ll check and get back to you.” Within a few minutes she drove the adapter back to our campsite and then took the payment right there. Talk about great service!! This was after she checked us in and escorted us to our site. This KOA is top notch because of employees like Autumn!!

The tent site was very nice - flat, with enough parking space, a nice picnic table, and electricity available. One (very minor) quibble was that it's butted right up against the children's play area and kind of out in the open - I'd have preferred a little more privacy. But it was easy to get to, and for a quick overnight, served what I needed. The camp store had some things I needed, and seemed well-stocked; I was even able to buy a nice breakfast and coffee before getting back on the road. I should have bought firewood while checking in at the office before closing - there was no self-service firewood available, which might have made my stay even better. The restroom was very clean and accessible. I was worried that my late arrival would be an issue, but the young lady that checked me in right before the office closed was very kind, patient, and helpful. In the morning, staff were busy keeping things clean, and were very friendly. Location was very easy to find, right down the road from the interstate, with easy access to get back on in the morning. Overall, I was very happy with my stay here, and would stay again.

Our stay overall was great! The view of the lake was great and my kids loved all of the amenities. There was one major safety issue that I brought forward and the person in the office acted like maintenance wasn't doing their job. It is leadership's responsibility to ensure it's customers are safe! The outlet for the pound pump was pulled out of the outlet box where people are fishing. This is a wet location...water and electricity equal easy path for electrocution. I will add pictures.

This seems to be a little out-of-the-way KOA. However, it’s the best one I’ve ever stayed. Price was more reasonable than others. We were just passing through and needed a place to stay for the night. Enjoyed a nice, clean shower and relaxing dip in the pool. (We didn’t have any small children with us, but if we did….They would’ve been happy with the extra activities.) Most of the sites had a decent amount of shade, and weren’t overly crowded.

My family and I stayed at this KOA over the weekend. We really enjoyed ourselves. There are so many activities and things to do for the kiddos. Our toddler loved the bounce pillow, tire climb, playground, and games. My husband and I loved going to the fishing pond and nature trail for walks. We saw some beautiful sunsets over the field. The grounds are well maintained and the bathrooms were so clean. Definitely recommend this campground for families.

Galesburg East is a really nice KOA located only 5 minutes from the interstate yet it's in the middle of farm country! It's extremely well kept and they have sites for any persons taste . Mark, the owner does a really good job and maintenance is outstanding at this place.

Clean, well-maintained, and family friendly! This campground has loads of amenities, such as a spotless laundry room, extremely clean bathrooms, jumping pad, pool, mini golf, fishing pond, cabins to rent, a nature trail, patios and pergolas, high speed internet, and more! This is a wonderful campground, especially for families! They have organized events (such as this week, trick or treating, a site decoration contest, pumpkin carving contest, costume contest, bingo, and more!) and they have quiet hours starting at 10 PM which allowed us to relax at the campfire/enjoy the peace and quiet of the campground. This campground is extremely well maintained and those who maintain the campground truly CARE about you and this site. Definitely check out the KOA in Knoxville, IL!

Very tidy! A well kept campground. The store is nicely stocked, lovely wood carvings. What a beautiful place for children: safe, fun, and many activities to occupy their time. The pool is well maintained. The restrooms are top notch. We loved that the laundry also had arcade games (free) and again very well kept. Each area was definitely gone over by the team here and it shows. Everyone was polite and we met a great family 😁...who just amplified the fun and good moments. Their daughter was a spitfire and her high spirit was welcomed by our family. 😆 Disk golf was fun as was the mini golf and the trail is well kept. Dog bins and bags along the way with nice dog park. Volley ball, hatchet throwing and more....Overall a good experience. Even if I did lock us out of the camper and exploded a soda inside the camper lol I'm a walking caution sign....😜....we each had fun in our family and got to spend quality time together. Thank you Mark and everyone for helping create memories.

Since you have decided to go KOA you will never see us again. We use to go here every summer and stay for long periods of time. Now you want us to pay a lot more just because you are KOA no thank you. The last few owners did not have them and they put everything there and now with KOA you will charge for everything. No thank you! We will go to Monmouth and stay there. Thanks for running people away.

Beautiful campground with a catch and release fishing pond. Extremely clean restrooms and laundry facilities. Staff that goes the extra mile to ensure a welcoming stay. Large sites with 30/50 amp service. Well maintained swimming pool as are the grounds. Huge dog park! Drop in and catch a sunset!

Definitely in our top 3. This would be a great park to stay at on a permanent basis...but, it's seasonal. Beautiful, well kept park. Awesome staff of folks that love what they do...and it shows. I could write a 100 words about how wonderful it was to stay there...but, I'll just say...if you pass this place by for another...YOUR LOSS!!! It would be a blessing to be able to stay there again. Thank you Mr. B, Bertina, John, Mike, Jeff and Asta.

Very clean, very friendly staff. One of the coolest mini-golf courses right on premise. Well Kept swimming pool. Extra activities such as bingo and arts and crafts. Definite family fun. We stayed in one of the three cabins they have. Mostly well shaded RV hookups. Would definitely go back.

Beautiful campground and clean restrooms and showers. The owners were on site and was very friendly and helpful. Wish we had gotten in the pool, it look amazing. We will definitely be back!! They had catch and release pond, Putt Putt Golf and an amazing walking trail. Beautiful grounds and very beautiful!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
