The campground was awesome! I cannot overstate how good this location was. During a motorcycle tour of YellowStone national park, I used this campground as a staging point for the trip. I would like to start off with, I did not expect the dirt road into the campsite but it was more than manageable on my Honda Goldwing. Once I got to the site, I was truly impressed with how clean, flat and cleared out the site was. Camp site was super simple and required no effort to get the tent site cleared off. I was able to set up my who campsite in a short time. The Camp hosts were very helpful with information and letting me know where and how to find things I was looking for. There is water available throughout the campground and vault toilets are also available. Out of all of the vault style toilets, this was the cleanest, best stocked, and actually smelled good. I noticed every day the camp host driving around, stocking and cleaning the restrooms. Additionally, there are bear boxes available at each spot which made storage easy. The four days I was there is was so quiet and nice. There is a near by lake that is so pretty to sit by and enjoy. The best thing about this campsite is the location to West Yellowstone entrance, which is only about 10 miles away. I highly recommend this spot if you plan to go to Yellowstone and camp while you are there.

We were in Loop C. We found the campsite clean and easy to back our 27’ bumper pull into it. The lake does have a few access points. However, while we were there, there were signs warning of ‘blue algae’ blooms. So, we were forced to keep the pups out of the pond. There is water available, but do not expect to fill your tanks easily because they to have the traditional non-threaded spigot. There are fire rings, tables, and bear boxes. In loops A

campground itself was great. no mosquitoes as some experienced in other reviews. peaceful, well kept BUT I cannot express how absolutely horrible the last 2 miles to get to the campground is. We almost didn't make it to the campground pulling a 25' travel trailer in a big truck because the roads are so washboarded it nearly shook us to death and practically stopped us at several points because everything was shaking so badly. We are staying here 2 weeks and dread every day driving in and out of the campground to go exploring Yellowstone. Would've easily given the campground a 5 star review if not for the roads. I don't know what kind of vehicle you would need to not get beaten to death on the drive in and out. We've only been her 1 week of our 2 week stay and are dreading the drive out with our camper. There's no reason they couldn't grade the road more often so it only makes me assume they really don't care about their campers or their reputation. Would've definitely come back again were it not for the roads. If we have to leave to take our camper somewhere to dump we probably won't even come back, that's how bad the roads are. I can't express enough how bad they were and urge you to seriously consider before you make a reservation here.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The surroundings are beautiful and so peaceful – the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. We had to change our route at the very last minute, which meant adjusting our booking, and the staff handled it with ease and friendliness. Everything was simple and stress-free. Highly recommended The road to the camp is really bumpy

Rainbow Point campground was awesome! Electric hookups made it even better. The host was not great. Never had a conversation with her. For being in a grizzly bear area, lots of garbage left out at camp sights with vehicles gone presumably to West Yellowstone. Otherwise a great experience. Always be Bear Aware folks! It only takes 1 bear to have issues. Keep your garage in your car or in the bear proof dumpster there.

Clean quiet campground. There is water that appeared to be potable. There are no showers. There is pit toilets, which were kept very very clean by the host. There are Bear boxes for food at each campsite, that you can lock. The camp host did an amazing job at this campground. Overall I would stay here again.

Sites are really close together and you have to lock up EVERYTHING not just food. Soaps toothpaste toothbrushes etc. Apparently all of this and more will attract the bears. There's also a fine for leaving any of it out. There's a sign that says the water had toxic algae so we weren't able to swim until we talked to the host. they told us the water was fine. I guess they leave the sign up all the time. That sucked. I would've loved to go in the water.

Clean campground right on the lake. We enjoyed being able to walk to the water and paddle across the lake. Despite being so close to Yellowstone, this campground was quiet, which we loved. Vault toilet was very clean. Bear boxes at every site. 15 minutes to West Yellowstone/YNP entrance.

I'm not happy about of the rules of the camp grounds I have been coming here for over 45 years now in the last 2 years they have made changes almost every year, use to be able to fill your campers with a garden hose now all of a sudden you can not do it anymore you have to pick up your campers and take it out to the main entrance to get water The bathrooms are not cleaned very good anymore now they sprays them now they use to mop them out and wipe everything in the bathrooms The road to get to the camp grounds isn't too good it's like a wash board and they use to have a water truck to wet the main roads in the camp loops to keep the dust down when campers left their spots the camp hosts would clean up before anyone came to use the camp spot again The camp hosts don't stop by to check out anything or even say hello and how is everything going they use to stop by to see if everything is going well their is a lot of dogs are running loose then before now for the good things are that they put in bear 🐻 boxes in each camp spots most of the camp spot have electricity in them it's nice and quiet

Dusty washboard road to get to the campground. Once in the campground very nice. The lake is beautiful but has algae bloom. Pit toilets were kept very clean. Water spout to fill up camping trailer, located by campground kiosk. Lots of other water spigots are located throughout the campground. I only wish there was a dump station located here. I would definitely stay here again!
