Galveston Island KOA Holiday is the nicest RV resort that we have encountered on Galveston Island, especially for the price. We booked a lot with an elevated patio deck for a very reasonable price. The pool, hot tub, and heated lazy river were outstanding. Service was also exceptional. We recommend buying one of the mixed drinks for roughly $8 and a dog treat for your best friend. We will be back many times.

We had an amazing time. We were greeted with smiling faces and open arms. Everyone was so helpfull and inviting. The camp grounds were clean and well maintained. The lazy river was an evening treat followed by the community camp fire. We will definitely be staying again.

Everything about this campground is great. It’s extremely clean and well maintained. The staff works incredibly hard to make your stay the best. Special shout out to Kat and Belinda, both were a pleasure to work with. We enjoyed all the amenities the park had to offer, but the lazy river was hands down the winner! Also want to mention Way West Pizza and Venados Catina, both are really great places to get food.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. During our stay there was an officer patrolling over by the playground. The bathrooms and laundry were nice and clean. The pool was immaculately clean. People seem to be spaced out well. Aside from having to wear a wristband the whole time, there weren’t a bunch of crazy rules like some RV parks. We really enjoyed our stay.

Check in was a breeze and had a nice chat with Belinda. Well kept office area. Clean and nicely stocked store. If you would like a adult beverage, see Mack or any of the staff at the counter. They also have 'Mr Sugar Rush' frozen treats for the parents and Blue Bunny ice-cream for the kids. We enjoyed the pool and the lazy river during the heat of the day. Our site, 334, was nice and quiet, pull through with full hookups. The concrete pad is nice and level. And the grounds staff kept everything clean and the grass cut daily. Will definitely stay here again. Just be aware that it is about 20 to 25 miles west of most attractions and shopping in the city.

Enjoyed our camping trip at the KOA. Clean & private bathrooms. Nice laundry room with lots of washers & dryers. Very windy our entire stay. Enjoyed watching the sunset right from our site & woke up early to drive across the street to watch a gorgeous sunrise. Lots of doggie disposable poop stations throughout campground which made cleanup super easy. Cute doggie park & nice amenities. Friendly staff & safe area. 40 minute drive to the Strand.

What a beautiful park. It is clean and inviting. The staff were wonderful and what a blast. The park has a lazy river, pool and hot spa. Yes we tried them all. Also, the KOA is a walks way to the beach and yes our family and dogs went to the beach. We will be returning to this location!

Awesome campground with excellent amenities! They do enforce kids under 17 not being allowed in the hot tub, but the pool was warm enough and the lazy river was really fun! Showers are clean and even have soap and shampoo/conditioner in dispensers. Very good price too! And the folks who run the counter were so friendly and helpful!

After a slight problem with our 1st site, the office was able to move us closer to the offered amenities & all was good. These are friendly folks who keep the place hopping! There were bake sales, yard sales, ghost lectures, beer tasting, live music and frozen concoctions offered during our stay. The winds were crazy, but the pool and hot tub were good but a bit crowded. Sites are paved, level and well maintained. Laundry facilities were clean and the showers were ok. Overall worth the stay if you want to hang out at the camp. The beaches, attractions and nightlife are further away than expected. You'll need a car /tow vehicle to wander the island. Everything else is KOA expected.

This is the newest KOA we have ever stayed in. The sites are concrete, level, and not cramped. They had the pool and lazy river heat cranked up during our March stay. Basketball, pickle-ball, corn hole, etc are available. The live entertainment was pretty darn good and very popular. Nice camp store that also sells local craft beer. Very pet friendly. Resort located on the quiet and uncrowded end of Galveston Island and you are about 15 minutes from a gas station with a small grocery store. We had a pull thru site but I recommend a back end site on the west side for gorgeous, unobstructed sunsets. Solid 5 stars!
