We had a great visit at Galveston RV Resort and Marina. Great location for walking to get supplies and fuel, good restaurants. Depth was great for our 40ft sailboat. The management is so nice and helpful. They have a Laundry room and they have change if you need it. Restrooms and shower available. Great pool and hot tube. They also will allow packages to be delivered if needed. Overall a great spot to stop in either a sailboat, power boat or RV.

My family and i had amazing stay here, the staff is super friendly and helpful and not to mention the view you wake up to in the mornings. Sandy and Jena were very attentive to our needs.

Our stay at Galveston RV Resort and Marina was absolutely wonderful! The property is clean, well-kept, and perfectly located for enjoying both the water and everything Galveston has to offer. The amenities are top-notch—spacious sites, easy hookups, and a beautiful marina with gorgeous views. What really made our experience stand out, though, was Jena. She is hands down the most helpful and welcoming person we’ve ever met at a resort. From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, answered all our questions with patience, and made us feel right at home. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares so much about guests, and Jena is truly the heart of this resort. If you’re looking for the perfect RV getaway in Galveston, this is it. We’ll definitely be coming back—and a huge thanks again to Jena for making our stay so memorable!

We stayed at the Galveston RV Resort and Marina last month and already returned for another stay. We were really impressed and had a great time! The location is fantastic, the staff is very friendly, and it's very clean and well kept. Normally we never use the pool at a resort with me being somewhat germaphobic. However, the pool and hot tub at this resort were so clean looking we couldn't resist going in it. We also witnessed dolphins in the waters near the resort and had the best luck fishing there. This was our fifth stay in RV parks around the Freeport/Galveston area this year, and we give this one the highest marks above all others. We stayed in sites A26 and C17. We thought C17 was better because it was a short walk to our favorite fishing spot.

Would not stay here again. There are too many other great options in Galveston. 30 amp didn’t work (thankfully we had a converter to use the 50amp) There’s Only one working shower in the ladies room. (One shower drains so slowly you’re standing in 5 inches of water hoping not to flood the bathroom- the other shower has no hardware the pipes are capped off) Extra fee of $25 for having a dog (there’s no dog park or special accommodations for animals so not sure why they charge extra for a dog to hang out in my own camper) Pool rules are so picky the staff went out of their way to confront my very sun burnt husband for wearing a fisherman’s shirt in the pool while he swam with our 5 year old. Not sure why that was an issue and they wanted him shirtless. Super odd interaction. (There’s a no street clothes sign-which I guess means no modesty/extra cover ups like a shirt vs our interpretation of no jeans, sleep clothes, shoes, bra/underwear etc) There’s a no jumping rule at the pool- really takes the fun away for kids. I understand no diving in 5ft of water but the no jumping in just feels unwelcoming for kids. CANNON BALL (Did I mention they charged us extra for our kids?!) The dryers caught the strings on our clothes and damaged a couple items. On a positive note- the bayou has great fishing and Galveston has a lot to offer.

Very relaxing. Loved walking the dogs along the water's edge. They have benches, fishing and crabbing, rental kayaks and bicycles, a marina. Very dog friendly. I rented an RV there for a few days and had a lovely getaway.

Been staying here for 10+ years. New owners must have added more sites, because we were so close to each other that there was no place to sit outside unless you were in front of RV. They also laid gravel down. And charged an additional $50.00 for trailer. They won't guarantee your spots will be together if you are with a group. Not happy and definitely will not go back.

Review Edit 06/2020: Updated review: New management has made major changes and upgrades to the park. They are friendly, and always nice. They keep the park clean, and the pull-thru spots are great. They rebuilt the docks and boat slips (they were in pretty bad shape and dangerous to walk on). Great place to go.

We are new to the RV life. Galveston was our first trip in an RV that we rented. We traveled from Norman, OK. Our reception was helpful, courteous and very professional. Everyone we encountered was warm and welcoming. Shout out to Jordan for patience and customer service. What a beautiful place with access to fishing and boating. It is very obvious these folks care about their place. Minutes from shopping, eating, and the Beach. We enjoyed golf carting around... This service is on the grounds...Ride and Sea Rentals. What a wonderful vacation.

Very nice location and staff. Water front was very nice. Only negative is that most spots are very close together and its a tight squeeze for two vehicles. This is something that the view and location overcome!
