Don't drive on the grass or park on the grass. Ok, no way to squeeze my campers in without driving on the grass? The previous rv had a huge rug 8x20 next to the pad, there's NO GRASS there?

Great place to take the kids camping. The cabins are great to stay in and easy access to the beach and docks for fishing.

Great campground I visit annually for decades. Features an ice cream shop and restaurant that also sells camping essentials from 9am-9pm every day. Most sites if not all have water and electric hookups. Best campground in the Willmar area, but often busy, especially on weekends, try to reserve a spot months in advance when possible. They recently added cabins, but I've never checked them out. There is a church service held outdoors every Sunday morning for those interested, but far enough from the campground as to not be distracting to those still sleeping or nonreligious folk.

Love this place. And it seems it's the only lake/beach with no slime or lake itch. Cute store, friendly ppl , I like going to the beach about 4 or 5pm, seems it clears out pretty fast, so, alot of beach to not alot of ppl. My fave😁😉

For the most part I enjoyed the trip I took with my friends. I don't mind basic rules or guidelines, but for a beach this places rules are a bit obscure. Some make sense like no glass on the beach right, but some seemed like they were there to kill your fun, so maybe find a beach with less rules if you're going to be unruly. Decent prices for rentals, only saw one paddle boat though so keep that in mind. The little shop was nice, but way over priced for convenience so bring everything you need or be ready to spend.
