Don't waste your time and money camping here. I am a cabin owner. This suppose to be a provincial park ..grass isn't cut ..the lake is a swamp ..tte beach is horrific ..thistle on the shoreline and a crap path to get into the water ..water is pooling near the shoreline with green duck and seagull poop. The beach is non-existent ? At happened to this beautiful beach and water. Several of us from different resorts complained last year sent photos of the Busch launch and the beach ..the MLA for the area didn't answer our phone calls ..the contact for Alberta parks did zero .they should all be ashamed !!! We pay taxes for our property around the lake. .if I had young children I wouldn't take them to the beach ..have mentioned the glass that is also found on the beach from broken bottles !!! We have gone down ourselves as cabin owners and tried to clean the beach from thistle. The matinence people said they don't have a quad or any machinery to clean the beach !! Ask for it ..it's disgusting .no one goes to the beach ..no one wants to launch a boat . Mist cabin owners purchased pools now ..and boating done at other lakes . It's a shame ..thanks Alberta Government for your lack of action !!!

Wonderful campground. Very well maintained and clean. Great paths and trails for walking very convenient with our furry baby. Privacy was great just depends on every site. Spacing was good too. I would love to have given a full 5 stars, but the showers ate our loonies. Some of the showers didn't work which caused us in a lose of a few bucks When we notified the workers didn't seem like anything was done to check into it. It is one of the most cleanest and well maintained provincial parks. It helps when campers are respectful of the facilities as well im sure. Washrooms and showers were also clean and well kept. Garbages were cleaned on the daily near campsites. Sad but the lake was not swimmable though nothing new for this time of year in Alberta areas. Low water and dried up a bit smelly too. Beach area was clean and just nice for relaxing and getting some sun in the sand. Very quiet and serene. Sky gazing into the late night was a treat. Great get away and good for nature lovers.

This place is great! Decent facilities, two playgrounds, good drinking water! What more could you ask for while camping.

A beautiful campsite, with well tended spots. However, the hours to access firewood are absolutely ridiculously tiny and random. Only one hour a day, closed two days out of the week. If you arrive after, tough luck and you'll have to pay the exorbitant cost at the gas station

A bit crowded even being only under a 100 sites. Some of the sites is very hard to back in if you have a larger trailer.
