Rented a full service site that was suppose to fit a 30ft trailer but when I got there had to get people to move just to get my 27ft trailer in. I was told I would have water , 30amp service and sewer hook up along with a fire pit but I only got water and hydro. And still had to pay full price as if I had full service They told me my sewer hook up was buried under logs and did nothing about it, also had no fire pit as half my site was cut down for an emergency exit that had large tractor and and extremely noisy side by side that was driving right threw my site multiple times a day would recommend only stay if you are not planing on spending to much time at the site and have a small trailer everywhere is very tight for 25ft and up.

The sites are so small and almost no privacy. Very few trees. Just grass, with your tent right up next to your neighbors tent. Sites barely have room for a tent, picnic table, firepit and one car. On the plus side, it's a 10 min walk to the beach. And the staff are friendly. Bathrooms are... odd. There's a urinal beside the sink, and the stalls are really small. They also clean them daily in the hour before checkout which is a bit inconvenient. Showers are fine. They're free, they work.

I don’t usually leave poor reviews but this place is not worth $110 per night. It is a very small campground that looks like someone’s unkept backyard. Most of the sites are very small and they are booking in 26-32 ft trailers and motorhomes. At best there should be tents and tent trailers only at this place. My site had dog shit on it when we arrived, I couldn’t find my sewer because it was half buried in the ground and the whole time I was there sea gulls were picking out garbage all over the place. Not a nice spot at all and definitely never bring your kids. Roots RV Resorts should either over haul this campground or dump it from the fleet, again it is not worth $110 per night just because it’s in Wasaga Beach which is under construction for the foreseeable future. Very disappointed.

Simple small camping with everything we need.10 min walk from area 1 beach, Wal-mart, other stores and restaurants are also within a walking distance. Washroom, showers (free) and pool are super clean. There's a basketball hoops and a small playground. Dogs are welcome. Carole at the office was very nice and helpful.

Gateway was awesome! Everyone was so nice and helpful, and it had everything you need for a fantastic trip. Plus, it was quiet and the neighbors were great.
