This is a very well kept campground on the edge of town. All full hookups mean we shower in our camper so we didn't see the bath house. We stayed Thursday to Monday so we started out with very quiet surroundings. Friday and Saturday was busy and a little noisy with kids and young people playing, but was relatively quiet by 11 pm, with a little activity after, but was a respectful crowd overall. Nice golf cart friendly trails and lake access. Docks were out due to the late season. We camped the last weekend they were open, and loved every minute of it.

Rv Campsites are VERY close to each other. Cement pads were nice. Full hookups close and easy to reach. Majority were local seasonal or permanent sites that haven't been moved in a long time. Firepits are by the road so we didn't use ours. Trees need trimmed up for 5th wheel campers. Pet friendly. Lots of golf carts.

I stayed in one of the private primitive cabins in the very back of the lot. Lots of privacy this time of year. It was very nice to stay close to the fair grounds making coming and going very easy! Highly recommend if you need a more affordable option for a stay in hillsdale.

This campground was everything we ever wanted. The pool was warm and clean and well maintained. The site was spacious and pretty level with full hook ups close and easy to access. The staff were friendly and went above to ensure our kids were having fun. The owner even cooked us breakfast from their food truck Timbers that had one of the best bagel breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. We will be returning to this campground for many more visits.

It's a nice, quiet campground. There's a pool, playground and jump pillow for the kids. They have a pretty good store and snacks. The shower facilities are clean. Across the street there is a fishing pond and lake. You can rent kayaks or paddle boats at the camp store. If it's insured, you can bring your own golf cart. They also have some to rent.

We spent mothers day weekend and it was amazing. The kids had a blast we met some awesome people. We took a camper so I'm not sure about their cabins however we are definatly returning this summer!

Our family always enjoys our time at Gateway. Tim and Michelle, along with their staff, are amazing and treat you just like family. We started off renting a camper for a week here and there and ended up becoming a seasonal renter. It is our perfect little get-away!

RV lots were too tight. Fire pit was at the road so we didn't use due to the kids being at the road, unable to play. Nice area. Woods, trails, Playground for the kids was great. Concrete slab for RVs were nice too.

We spent 10 days in this lovely campground and thoroughly enjoyed it. The sites are clean, campground is quiet, and the staff are super. Gateway has the best WiFi of any campground I’ve been to. We highly recommend it.

My grandchildren grew up with us at Gateway. It is a safe family oriented camping experience. The pool is beautiful there is a lake for low wake water sports. A new weekend food truck is a great addition. Try it out

Very nice family campground. Clean, spacious transient camp spots with full hook ups, cable and good water. Many family activities, pool, large covered deck, great playground and access to boating & fishing at Sand Lake across the road. Close to groceries, restaurants & gas. Friendly. One Little thing: WiFi is weak. If you need dependable internet access, you will need a robust hotspot.

We will definitely be back to this campground! The staff is amazing and very accommodating and the atmosphere is great for kids. Every week the staff puts on great events for all the kiddos! Highly recommended!

10/10 for this wonderful place. The owners and staff are absolutely amazing! Extremely clean bathrooms and showers. The store they have is a life saver for those who tend to forget things. Also, they have a ton of toys and trinkets for kids to keep them busy! Will be back this summer for sure!
