Stayed here 1 week..... maintenance here is super rude....... very noisy with golf carts and leaf blowers @8 a.m. do not stay here if you value sleep. Dont care how cheap this hell hole is. Its not worth it! My suggestion is start your maintenance around 10 am like normal places. Get electric golf carts, since gas carts are actually illegal on roads, AND YES, I DID SEE THEM DRIVING IT ON MILL CREEK TO GET FROM ONE CAMP TO THE NEXT. I SHOULD HAVE CALLED LAW ENFORCEMENT. DO BETTER! Next time I will stay at the K.O.A.

We absolutely loved our stay. The park model was super clean and comfy. Plenty of room for everyone. The campground is close to pigeon forge but not in the middle of all the noise. It’s quiet and so peaceful. 10/10 would stay again. (This was our 3rd time staying at this campground)

The campground is very convenient to Pigeon Forge activities as well as Gatlinburg. Campground was full, but quiet and the grounds looked well kept. We rented a Pet Friendly Studio (cabin F) and was pleasantly surprised as how nicely it was decorated, and you could tell someone took pride in making sure it was extra clean and ready for our arrival. Thank YOU! it showed. We didn't do any cooking there, but it did look like it had ample space and kitchen items to do so. We didn't have much interaction with the staff, but the brief time we did, the ones in the office/store were pleasant. We had a nice anniversary trip and would definitely rent there again.

Great location, woodsy and peaceful. Highly recommend. Enjoyed our stay. The only constructive comment would be better lighting for a path to the bath house for those that need to walk to it after dark.

This was our 2nd year staying at Gateway RV Campground. Both times we stayed here in our RV and both times we stayed for 5 nights. Staff were very friendly. It's a very nice place, clean bathrooms and laundry room. Our site was great and we love that it's pet friendly because our fur babies go everywhere with us. Love the mountain view going in and out of the park! We definitely recommend this campsite❤️ We will be back 🙃 Thank you for a pleasant stay. God bless 😊

Campground facilities were always cleaned and well maintained. The campground was quiet and everyone there was friendly and respectful. The entire area was quiet and peaceful both day snd night. Staying here was a great experience and would definitely come back again.

This is our 3rd year staying at Gateway to the Smokies. They changed ownership since the last time we were there. Maybe that's why our grass hadn't been cut? We did ask and were told they cut it once per week. However, it needed cut when we arrived and when we left a week later, it still hadn't been cut. They closed the pool the weekend before we arrived yet it was in the high 80s everyday except one and felt like the 90s most days. We visited a few other campgrounds while in the area and every other campground had their pool open still. One of them advertised keeping theirs open through October. I would highly recommend keeping the pool open longer!! There are two bathhouses on the property. They are very clean and nice. They keep them locked with a code to get in. Some of the sites are quite small and others are a bit roomier. Though our site and many next to it had a newer cement pad, all of them were cracked and very out of level. We had to slam our 32 foot on the ground to get level. There is a game room that has a claw game that's broken, a multicade, a racing game, and some card games. There is also a TV but I'm unsure of it's status. The campground is super close to the parkway yet you can't see the parkway which is a nice perk! We had a bear run through the campground this time! The campground is reasonably priced for the area.

We stayed in a Chalet that was pet friendly. The campground was quiet at all hours (when we was there). The Chalet was clean with 2 bedrooms on king bed and one queen with a good sized kitchen, living space, and bathroom. Beds are very comfortable. The chalet was clean. I loved the location of being at the south end of town. Easy to navigate to the forge or Gatlinburg. Close to town but again quiet. I would definitely recommend for family/friend vacation. I wouldn’t suggest for a romantic getaway due to it’s a camp ground and may lack quality for romance. This was perfect for us since we didn’t plan that kind of trip and again they do allow pets for those who can’t leave them behind. We didn’t use facilities such as pool or laundry room but the pool area looked well kept and clean. We will definitely stay there again.

Very convenient to Pigeon Forge. Some sites require a lot of leveling so bring extra blocks. Other than the leveling challenges, great campground.

We stayed at this lovely RV park the first week of November. The park is clean and well kept. The people who work in the office are helpful and polite. We were in site 22. We even had a visitor stroll right next to us one evening (black bear)!! The only reason we did not give a five star rating was the sites although being a paved site it had a pretty big slope and we had to really block up the one side to make our 5th wheel level. We will definitely stay again next time we come back!!

We stayed here for the first time 6 months ago. Our only complaint for that trip was no hot water in the showers but we decided to stay again because overall we enjoyed our trip. This time upon checking in we were told our tent was too big. (The same tent we stayed in back in April and the same site) I know rules change so that’s fine. But the man told me that I was told on the phone that we could put a 6 person tent on this site ( I know we have a large tent and wouldn’t purposefully bring a larger tent if I had been told that) anyways, I was told that our tent was too big and that the site we were on was for an RV. So a 6 person tent can be on an RV site but not a larger tent????? It fit just fine in the spot we had and we didn’t have any trouble putting our stakes in the ground. If we needed to pay more for a larger site we would have. I guess I’m confused as to why you can have a 6 person tent and not larger in a spot that will easily hold a larger tent. We enjoyed camping as a family but are sad to say we won’t be back to this campground. We were already planning several more trips for next year but we will be going to another campground

This is a cute little park with an excellent location just off the main parkway, but you would never know it was right there. Nice clean bathrooms. Fire rings. Country store. And cute little cabins. Shuttle bus even picks up right in front!
