This is great place to camp especially if you have kids! So much to do! It is a campsite not a hotel so we stayed in our rv. Our daughter visited and really enjoyed the amenities!the staff was friendly and helpful! There are adult activities too, bingo, 50/50 fishing, swimming, putt putt golf and there was a cornhole tournament and there is a dog park for your furry children!

we became seasonal this year at golc and do not regret it .. after 10+ yrs at our previous park where we pretty much was pushed out we were nervous to move again however the owners and entire staff are awesome camp store always stocked, anything you might need is there, Cafe food pizza and even ice cream , activities every weekend 😀 all of the seasonals we have meet and are all so welcoming which made our move that much easier , the lot rent is very reasonable each lot is priced differently according to location..cant forget fireworks on the 4th wow .. so happy we are at golc .. year one almost in the books here's to many more

We started seasonal camping here 4 years ago. Chose it for the distance from home. Seasonal costs are inexpensive enough for us. Activities for kids and adults. Kareokee, bingo, beach games, wagon rides. We've met a lot of new friends here. Great place

The little old lady who runs the shack is honestly rude. She picks and choose who she nice too. I think the little summer job done went to her head 🤷‍♀️ will not be returning souly because of herrrrr

People, staff were terrific! We had a blast. I do wish the little lake was cleaner! This will prevent us from returning.

We had a lot of fun there. Staff is really friendly. The long term rv people were very friendly & welcoming. They have a lot of events at the cllubhouse. Everyone sang happy birthday to my sister. We did the rustic camping. The rustic sites are first come, first serve. There was a hiking trail. The prices were fairly cheap. $20 for Michigan large pizza (Michigans pizza is bigger than other states, for those that dont know).

This was such a fun campground!!! Everyone who worked there was so friendly and helpful. The camp store has everything and the prices weren't bad. There was some algae on the lake but once the pump was going it cleared up. We saw blue gill and bass jump in the lake. The wristband package was a great deal!! We stayed in a cottage and our only complaint was the mattress on the pullout bed. It was very thin and cheap. The activities on Saturday were so much fun. The seasonal campers were friendly and welcoming We'll definitely be back! 🥰

Honestly would give 0 stars after today. No refunds even if a natural disaster happens and your stuff gets ruined and can’t stay another night even if you wanted to SMH because “they can’t control the weather”. Been coming for 3 years just to be able to fish off the little dock and relax although the water is DISGUSTING and murky with muck and algae everywhere especially this year idk if they haven’t cleaned it for the season or what but there wasn’t even any fish in the water I don’t think they stocked the fish if they even do that and the 25 cent feeder was broke which is crazy because you’d think they’d have enough money to replace it since they don’t give people’s money back for something they didn’t use. I will not be coming back !

This is a great little campground! We booked a site here on a whim for a quick weekend camping trip, we were not disappointed! The staff was friendly and helpful, they have a very nice store on the property where you can also order food and ice cream, an arcade and small beach area. There are also a lot of activities for kids throughout the day. When you purchase firewood they deliver it to your campsite. They also delivered a pizza directly to our campsite, my 5 year old son was very excited to have a pizza delivered by golf cart! We will be back and highly recommend this place!

Don’t let the bad reviews get to you. Me and my fiancé stayed here and it was so spacious, everybody was SO nice and the place all together is very clean. All the seasonal campers came over and greeted us with a smile and started conversation. The people next to us were leaving and gave us all their firewood for free! Everybody was telling us nice places to fish and everybody was quiet and very respectful. This was an absolutely amazing trip I will be back a thousand times!
