The good: They have lots of sites and usually have no problem with vacancies. There is a clubhouse / banquet hall that can be rented for parties. They have restrooms with showers and lots of washer/dryers for use. There is a pool table and an arcade game in the clubhouse. The lady that runs the office is on point. The other: the front half of the site has little to no shade trees. There's no cable tv so get your antennas ready.

no one in office, had to ask lawn mower guy where to park. big dead trees in campground sites in my area near office were on a hill and they are so out of level my front wheels lifted up. lawn mower guy there best part rest looks very low rent not recommended except for low price or they find you a more level site

Nice park, nice sites & quite, but internet is very poor & no help for park personnel on getting it fixed.

Nice park but their hours of operation and not having anyone around on Saturday afternoon and Sunday at all was weird.

Excellent small campground. Very quiet. Clean bathrooms.

The pads are concrete, pretty level, and nicely spaced. The laundry and office areas were clean. However, the moldy bathrooms were never cleaned while we were there and the office attendant was hardly ever in the office. Watch for fire ants.

This well-designed RV park that is only 2 years old could easily get 4 stars from me with just a little effort. We paid $39 for a one-night stay. Pros: Wide, asphalt interior roads with concrete pads and full hook-ups at every site. Sites (about 120) are wide with plenty of space between them. Plenty of grass and some trees. Quiet and sits back off of Rt. 290. No issues with electric, water or sewer hookups. Co-located with travel plaza for easy access to gas/diesel and small store. Bathrooms were clean. Cons: DO NOT turn on Rolling Oaks to access the campground. You enter the campground through the Texaco Travel Plaza and must turn RIGHT behind the Quonset hut to get to the camp office/check-in. IGNORE THE SIGN THAT TELLS YOU TO TURN LEFT AT THE HUT OR YOU WILL END UP IN THE TRUCK FUEL LANES. Most available sites weren’t level but they let you ride through and pick the site you want. Definitely take the time to do this. Just a couple of boards leveled our motor home easily. The bathrooms were beautiful when built but a poor design of the showers cause water to get on the walls. Every bathroom had rotted drywall with black mold outside of the shower. It appears this has been a problem since the campground opened. There was plenty of grass throughout the campground but it hadn’t been cut in quite some time. This makes it hard to walk and pickup after dogs. No campground map or instructions provided at check-in and the webpage only gives rates and a number for reservations. Summary: Adding to the webpage, adding better signage, cutting the grass and repairing the bathrooms would be a great start to making this an excellent RV park. It could even become a destination campground for families by adding picnic tables, fire rings, a playground and some activities for kids.
