Beautiful waterfall. 5-10 mins walk to the waterfall viewpoint. You will need a parking permit from recreation.gov for daily permit. Easy to walk around. Well maintained. It even has campground. Total three waterfalls about 3 miles.

Awesome place to visit. Parking reservations were strictly enforce during our visit July 2021. The water was icy cold - so refreshing after a mild hike during record high temps of 100+ degrees.

One of the most beautiful day use areas and campgrounds on the Lewis River. It may be a very long drive from Woodland Washington or Carson Washington, BUT it is worth your time. Note that the campground is reservation only and there is a day use fee of $5.00 which has limited parking.

Lower Lewis River falls campground was a good stay over all . not the cleanest and no shower's but a good Host and private sights The Falls is Beautiful . They need better signs Stating to fallow the trail to lower ground before trying to get to the falls. The road getting there has a lot of Dips go slow. Sight # 22 & 24

If you plan on camping here, then this is well worth the trip. The hike is easy and the falls are incredibly beautiful…. HOWEVER, if you are on a road trip driving up or down Interstate 5, and you’re just wanting to see the falls, and you have other destinations planned for the day, DO NOT GO. The road to here is a lot longer than you think, not to mention that it is very windy as well, so you absolutely must drive slow. Just getting there and back will eat up a vast majority of your day, as it is a 3 hour drive out of the way of anything else (6 there and back, if you don’t stop to look at the falls). It’s a lovely drive, but if you have plans after the falls, you are not going to get to them. I loved seeing the falls, as they were truly beautiful, but it was a bummer that my wife and I had to cancel several other planned destinations on our trip. This detour ate up way more of our time than we had anticipated. Being from out of state, this was a one time trip, and some of the other locations that we never got to see were much higher on my wishlist than these falls. You live an you learn. Not even months of prep and research will prepare you for reality. So, final verdict: don’t make this a stop unless you plan for this to be your ONLY stop for the day. However, if that is your plan, or if you live nearby, then it is absolutely worth the adventure!
