Nice little park. Decent fishing in the area. Well kept. Honestly surprised there weren't more people camping. Restrooms and showers are really nice, too.

Great local campground just outside of Elgin, Iowa. Great pull out point for canoes and kayaks, equestrian campground in the park, anf it's right on a bike trail to connect to the Nature Center, petting zoo, along with Elgin and further down the trail, Clermont. Bathrooms are clean, playground has been updated, and firewood is readily available for sale. I would recommend this campground without hesitation! ❤ 9/17/23 Same great park, same great location, with a great small town feel!
