Shhh, Don't tell anyone about this beautiful little city park & RV campground. This is Not one of those parking lot campgrounds without even a single tree with hundreds of tiny concrete pads inches from your neighbor. It's just the opposite, beautiful, majestic, mature trees right on the South Santiam River. They won't hassle you for having an older camper as there are big & small, as well as old & new rigs. There is actually grass surrounding your camp site (Don't park on it!). If you have a tow vehicle, they have convenient parking close by. Don't worry about the proximity of the railroad tracks, there was only one train during our two night stay & they don't blow the horn until they are quite a distance away. It was amazing to watch it travel across the river. The Tressle is a wooden building marvel in itself. There is a knowledgeable, helpful, professional host on site for any questions. Perfect overnight or week stay ; ) Thanks for a wonderful visit, we will be back.

Love this park it’s quiet and pretty clean.. the reason I gave only a 3 is this. Women’s bathroom could use some work like new toilet seats!! And closing them at 7 is really inconvenient . Why not have a code like there is for the showers? Last time I was there I was pretty disappointed in the site next to me. Whoever it was must of been a long term camper. Weeds growing up around it and the motor home was a junker not real pleasant to step out and see while I was there I ended up leaving a day early .

Beautiful, tree-filled park right on the river! Nice space between sites, accommodating to large rigs and there are full hookups too! For the active sort, there is a paved cycling trail along the river and meandering next to it (away from the river) is a dirt trail for walkers and dog owners which is almost all under lush tree cover...fantastic! If you enjoy boating or hanging out at the beach, the campground's location is perfect! NASTY WOMEN'S BATHROOM People have said the bathrooms are super clean but that is NOT the case right now. They are positively disgusting, with what appears to be month+ old brown slime in the toilets and worse as well. Truthfully, the condition of the two toilets is the worst I've encountered since I can remember. MEN'S BATHROOM HAS NO DOOR FOR THE TOILET My husband used the men's and also reported a slimy toilet and even worse, the one toilet stall (located at the far end of the bathroom) literally has no door, so if someone comes in and you're busy, you'd better let them know when the door opens before they walk in on you. BATHROOMS CLOSE AT DUSK The signs mention that they are shut after dark...so...what are people supposed to do if they need to go? Thankfully we have full hookups but we like to use the facilities if we can. It's safe to say that I will not be using this campground's bathroom during our week-long stay. BEWARE: HOMELESS ELEMENT AND BUSY DAY USE RIGHT AT THE CAMPGROUND SO LOCK YOUR STUFF The bathrooms are locked at night because of homeless people. There are countless paths off the dirt trail that no doubt lead to encampments, as I've read about online. I have not seen any questionable sorts but they are very likely nearby. Keep honest people honest by putting anything away and out of the open.

Small quiet park. The camp host is really nice. River access, boat ramp, beach like shore area. Don't worry about the train trestle. It's a spur line that hardly ever has traffic. We stayed a week and it went by twice, both times it was an engine and a couple of cars. Daytime only. Easy online reservation system. We've already booked our next stay.

Lovely little campground in the heart of Lebanon on the edge of the Santiam River. Plus a great trail system leading to and from the campground!

It's beautiful. I only walked, did not camp, therefore cannot comment on overnight facilities. It's a good walking path. Right along the South Santiam River. Well lit. Lovely.

I visited my sister, I thought the location and spacing of each RV pad, trails was great. Thank you for the experience.

Quiet, clean, the bike & walking trails are being remodeled or taken out or something done but they are closed an have been almost all summer and that sucks because I use them everyday , bathrooms are good & clean

Gill’s Landing RV Park in Lebanon is a great little park. From our site we can see the South Santiam River where people can launch their boats, fish, swim and hike the trails. The sites are all full hook-up and are nicely spaced apart with pleasant grass and trees all around. The pads are level concrete and each site has a picnic table and fire ring. There are clean showers for the park campers only plus public bathrooms as this is a city park/boat launch area. The camp hosts, John and Sherry, are wonderful people who take a personal interest in making sure the entire park is clean and well maintained. In fact, John has blown off our patio, outside mat and front steps nearly every day for us! One rainy day he even blew our outside broom to get it clean and dry. In all our years of camping we’ve never had anyone do this! We were here 2 years ago when there was a huge vagrant problem. John and Sherry have worked with the Lebanon Police to move the vagrants and drug dealing out. Now the park is much safer for walking around, sitting outside and leaving your RV. The police drive around at least 4-6 times a day which is fantastic. They are wonderful! Thank you Lebanon Police for protecting us. I highly recommend Gill’s Landing RV Park if you are staying in the area. It’s a great little homey park that is perfectly located for day trips to the Pacific Ocean or the Cascade Mountains or do a Willamette Valley wine tour.
