Perfect stay if you are looking for access to both sides of the park! Infamously the east side entrance at St Mary’s does not require a reservation to the Going to the Sun Road, you have easy access to this via Hwy 2/49. If you have that reservation it is a quick drive to the Apgar entrance. It is a perfect stay if you want access to the entire park without the park prices and you aren’t afraid to drive just 30 minutes either way to do it. The room was comfortable, clean, and the cafe attached to the inn has a great menu. It was truly perfect. I would suggest to anyone, like me, where location and access to both entrances was incredibly important, to stay here. I know next time I’ll be back staying here!

Absolutely fantastic place. For their hotel- Perfect location if you are one of those people who absolutely want to experience ALL sides of glacier- east & west , and not have to have multiple accommodations booked. As for their restaurant, their food is fantastic. The rooms in their inn are clean, and have access to Roku TV, so you have all your streaming services you would want once you’re back in for the night. Speaking of night, the sky out here is absolutely breathtaking, since it’s far enough away from both sides the light pollution is very low. You will see a shooting star! If you’re looking for a reason to book, this . Is. It!

The Shaman

The rooms are a bit small and the furniture is dated, but it has everything you need: coffee machine, fridge, air conditioning, a bathroom where you can take a hot shower. The restaurant is closed on Mondays, but the people are very helpful and can prepare you something to eat without any problem, in case you arrive on a Monday. Alternatively, there is a nice place four miles away that only takes cash, not cards. Very quiet place, nice people.

I camped there for 3 days over the weekend. Nice and safe place , I really like the shower room, clean and neat. Owner is very friendly and gave us good recommendations. The experience we had was great!

I have camped here for 6 days. The site is spacious and very level. Wifi is very good, this is very important because of very poor cell signal in local. There are a lot of trees in campground, which makes stay very comfortable. Office people are very nice and friendly. They also have a good restaurant just beside campground. The food there is very good. Overall, I like my staying here.
