This review is for the RV park, which is part of the property. The owner was seriously so sweet and kind to us! She is really awesome! I didn’t give the full 5 stars for a couple minor reasons - you are between the road and the railroad tracks. We stayed closer to the road side, which was noisier for us than the train, which doesn’t even honk its horn in this area. We didn’t have trouble sleeping because of the noise, but we don’t tend to be bothered by those types of things. The office hours are a bit confusing. There is a sign on the door listing the hours, which are only in the afternoon/evening? Or maybe that’s the restaurant? Either way, I walked up one day to get change for the laundromat on site (which was very nice!), and the owner let me know they weren’t open, but still brought me inside to exchange my bills for coins. Again, she was so nice! We also arrived from the east side and were confused about the location of the RV park, as Google maps only shows directions to the inn, while the RV park is the next entrance heading west. If arriving from the west you’ll have no problem finding the RV park, but with no service to call the business or signs indicating its location when coming from the east, it was confusing. We enjoyed our stay due to the kind owner, though it wasn’t the most peaceful location we’ve ever stayed.

Are you looking for a quiet place to spend the night after a long day hiking Glacier National Park? Nestled between a busy road and the railroad tracks, this ain't it. The rooms have that quaint, 1960s vibe, with a few modern additions -- a microwave (broken), a flat screen TV (don't hit your head), and a coffee maker. Open the windows to hear the rooster crow, and be prepared to drive half an hour for breakfast. The big box fan was a nice addition to drive out the mustiness of the room and add white noise, especially as the mini-split wasn't very effective.

My husband and arrive on Sunday and asked if we could have place with a kitchen, the hostess was able to help us upgrade to a lovely cabin from a motel room. It was more expensive, but so worth it. The view of the mountains was breathtaking, and we found the train traffic not bad. The small resturant, which is open for dinner was homey, the food fresh and delicious! We hope to return.

07-27-2025 I stayed here for two nights. Here is my take. Cons: Very limited food options - No Breakfast within 20 miles. The restaurant is extremely spotty and you will be lucky to even find someone in their office. This is not specified on their website, so be prepared to bring your own food. For the price, breakfast should be offered. Check in time was 4 o’clock, we showed up at 3:45 and the attendant inside made us wait until 4 to open the door. Weird as she was reading a book. Out of toilet paper upon arrival, 20 minute drive to nearest gas station to get more. The pillowcases had not been washed. Train tracks are behind the hotel within a couple hundred feet, 5-6 trains the first night. Anticipate a lot of noise here. The highway is 50 feet from your door, and it’s a busy road. The mattresses are aged and the pillows are paper thin. The room has a slight wet dog odor. Pros: Microwave, folgers pod coffee pot, mini fridge, streaming TV, WiFi, AC in room. The rooms are decorated nicely. Overall would not recommend. It’s a long drive to the west or east entrances to glacier and it is in a dead spot for food or supplies. For the price, an adequate disappointment.

In the ads this came off as a self-contained resort area. It's not really anything of the sort. It's just a few cabins and a restaurant. When we got there the restaurant was closed claiming they don't open the restaurant on Mondays. This was of course never disclosed in the listing. We were directed to a place called the Izaak Walton LOGE Inn/bar and grill 6 miles down the road and immediately wished we had booked there instead. Better hotel for similar price. It also didn't help that halfway through the evening the air conditioner started shaking and rattling like crazy. When I went to inquire about it I was told that 'a part had been ordered and would be arriving in a few days to fix' when I explained that it didn't do me any good at that moment and let the sound of so loud it would be impossible to sleep.... it was actually louder than the constant freight trains passing by. when I asked about an alternate room, I was told that there was no other rooms available. However one look outside at the lack of other vehicles clearly confirmed that this was simply a lame false excuse.
