Located in Big Pine, California, this park provides a functional and comfortable home base for travelers seeking to explore the dramatic landscapes of the Owens Valley. The majestic Sierra Nevada mountains tower to the west, providing dramatic sunset views over the rugged peaks. The park is designed to accommodate various RV sizes with full hookup sites that include 30 and 50-amp electrical service for modern convenience. Travelers can enjoy essential amenities such as clean restroom facilities and hot showers, which are a welcome relief after a long day of backcountry hiking. Just drove by, and noticed the shady campground. Nice place to take a break for a day. Beautiful views too.

Pretty clean cheap place to stay for the night. 25 bucks for a site without power 30 for one with power. There was about 8 sites with power but there were several folks there that appeared to be staying on a long term basis and they had most of the shady spots with power. It was pretty warm when we landed here but a nice breeze and shade kept it tolerable. Our spot was full of ants. Nice view of the eastern sierras. For 25 bucks you could do a lot worse.

Considered staying here in the future such as on my return from Vegas towards Tahoe but a camp host or long term resident was absolutely rude. I have never felt so disrespected in a camping area in my life. Yes I can read sir. No, I will not be giving you my business.
