Very nice campground. We stayed here in late fall a week before they closed. It wasn't to busy. We enjoyed our stay very much! Nice area to walk!!

This one was hard to review. It certainly had character. Many people seem to live there full time - a festive tree decorated with Christmas ornaments in the tent or rustic area added some... charm. The campsites are packed together and it was totally full when I was there. Reservation is recommended but if you're lucky you can drive in and get the very last available campsite ( that was what I did ) .. $15 for a basic campsite with a picnic table and fire pit - electric sites are available as well. Showers were amazing. Hot normal private showers. The beach is not much but it's within walking distance of a gorgeous park and the historic houses in the area are beautiful. The lady working the front desk was friendly too. Campsites come with access to showers and water for less than the rustic campsites in the National Forest that have no water and only pit toilets. Bravo for keeping the price reasonable. One of the cheapest in the entire area. Photos are mostly of the area ... the campsite is a packed in jumble of every rv type you can think of .. and tents.

We had a good time here. We weren't at the campground much as we were out exploring and at the fair. Don't leave your awning out, it may blow away.

Stayed for a week in a 36ft 5th wheel. Plenty of room between campsites. Campers were friendly. Enjoyed the area, within an hours drive to many cities and interesting things to do. Campground is right on the lake. Would recommend this place
