Known for its lush forests and crystal-clear waters, this park provides a classic British Columbia camping experience that feels worlds away from busy highways. It serves as a primary gateway to the Monashee Mountains, providing a rustic wilderness atmosphere that appeals to those looking to disconnect and truly immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the Boundary region.

Location & Surroundings

Situated just a short drive from the village of Christina Lake, the park is famous for its proximity to Canada’s warmest tree-lined lake. The surrounding landscape features towering interior cedar-hemlock forests and rugged rock outcroppings that create a sense of privacy and seclusion. Visitors can enjoy sweeping views of the water from various vantage points along the shore, making the scenic mountainous backdrop a defining highlight for every RVer parked within the Texas Creek area.

As a provincial park facility, the amenities focus on providing the essentials for a nature-focused stay. The park offers 62 vehicle-accessible campsites suitable for varied RV sizes, though visitors should note there are no electrical hookups. On-site facilities include flush toilets, a sani-station, and a spacious boat launch for easy lake access. While the environment is primitive, the well-maintained fire rings and picnic tables ensure a comfortable and authentic dry-camping experience for all guests.

A beautiful park that has the cleanest shower house I've been in. The host and park help is so friendly.

Very steep pathway to the lake. Be prepared to walk 🚶‍♂️ a long distance. Not the best lake as completely unkempt and treacherous bumpy trails. Not recommended

It was okay. I don't recall it being outstanding in any way. Staff could have been more friendly and helpful. Basic beach.
