Clean, big sites. Awesome staff! Huge fenced-in portapotties, bugs are not a problem, shower houses are in the tenting area. Lots of easy hiking trails. We didn’t spend time but saw a Lake and beach. Can rent different kinds of boats cheap. $45/night for 50 amp hook-ups. No sewer but there is a big water/dump area

We were in the Peninsula campground. It was very quiet. The sites were spaced out nicely. Firewood was convenient. The ice cream truck even came through! We were in site 2. Sites 1-3 are next to the golf course. There was a little noise from the carts, but nothing terrible. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the beach or other park amenities. Maybe next time!

This is one of the areas best campgrounds. We hadn’t visited for 15+ years, so many improvements have been made, including a new shower and bath house. New kayaks available to rent on the weekend. We had a great spacious and shady campsite.

Very nice and clean place, enough space for you, family or friends..we had a small withdrawal party. Had 3 tents and a a fire pit area. Close to the clean bathrooms and hiking area. Can fish or canoe, kayak. Etc. Beautiful place

Very nice camping area. We've started coming here the last couple of years because it's a nicely appointed County campground in a somewhat rustic area. About a 1-1/2-hour drive east of the Twin Cities; diverse camp sites for all sizes and styles; electric and water available; playground; nearby lake with beach and boat launch. There is also a golf course nearby. In my pics is campsite #1. It's right near the entrance. Not the most private with some traffic noise; right next to the golf course -- clubhouse is a nice distance away up the hill with restaurant and bar. Right near showers, toilets and RV dump station -- can't smell it, potable drinking water right nearby. FYI, this entire campground only has pit toilets, but they're well maintained and don't stink too bad. Recommended.
