Main points.. Bathrooms are clean. Showers are clean but very worn. Hot water and pressure are good. No privacy at the sites. They are very open and lots of big tree stumps where they were cut down. Beach was disgusting. There is a little goose island full of pooping geese that drifts to shore. Notices that it is not safe to swim. It literally reeks of crap. Feathers and poop everywhere. UPDATE: after this visit my grandson developed a severe impetigo infection, that took 3 courses of antibiotics to get rid of.

This is a good size park, with large and small sized camp sites. However two major items that need attention are the bathrooms and the beach! The beach is home to a great number of Canada Geese, which creates feases everywhere!!!!! The bathrooms don’t flush well with some effort this could be a fabulous park!

We have been going to all the St Lawerence Campgrounds and this one is the only one I have been unimpressed by. Let me start by say the staff is amazing and it’s nothing on them personally. However they should be doing though is monitoring the actual beach (not lifeguard, but making sure people are being respectful to others and etc). The beach is covered in poo but that’s always going to be a thing anywhere, but want to bring this up for the city folk so they aren’t surprised. The beach bathrooms are not maintained during opening hours and if it is, they need to increase the amount of times it is cleaned. There seems to be a family event going on at the beach (which looks like so much fun) but the people aren’t being respectful to the environment (garbage blowing everywhere, they had a water balloon fight and left all the balloons) and they decided to play cricket beside a children’s playground and were pegging children (obviously not purposely) but they could have gone elsewhere or realized maybe it isn’t the right place to do it but they didn’t stop after the first child being hit. Other campers who were with multiple families had a HOSE connecting to water that was suppose to be supplied to ALL campers but they “claimed” it. Theres next to no privacy, it’s all open and no forestry between campsites which some people would like but we personally don’t prefer.

Stayed in July 2024 at site #9 for 3 nights Positives: the views, proximity to town and size of the campground are nice. Our campsite also had lots of shade which was nice. Negatives: beach covered in bird poop, showers and bathrooms that need updating and better cleaning, insane amount of bugs, grass needs mowing, fire pit is just a barely dug out hole in the ground and there is a train nearby that honks every hour almost (even throughout the night). For 150$ for 3 nights they definitely need to maintain and clean more.

We stayed at this campsite mid may at site 18. The site had really tall grass wasn't moved at all. Views from this site is breathtaking but thats about it. On that day we were mobed by millions of mosquitoes. Like I have never seen before. We have been camping for a long time but they were really out of control. Even mosquito repellant didn't work. The screen house didn't work. The toilets are not cleaned regularly. They were filled with mosquitoes as well. It was a nightmare we had to check out early.

be aware of this camp ground. The camp sites are large and many sites offer a nice view of the river, however the rest isn't great. There is no activites other then 2 kids park and a soccer field. This is a bring your own water sports equipment as there is nothing to rent and nothing to do other then the beach and kid park The beach is not inviting. It is overrun by hundreds of geese and there's poop and feathers everywhere. The water is clear but the surface has tons of bird feathers and other contaminants that makes you wonder if this water is safe for swimming. The showers are cold and have been cold for sometime now since reviews mention it from many weeks ago. They are also very tiny and run down. The toilets on the weekend depending on how many people there are can be very dirty at times In addition, not a fault of the campground but its location being right by the highway has a constant humming but more importantly is the train which passes every hour and uses its loud horn 3 to 4 times while passing, including at night. That said, you will be woken by it multiple times if you're in a tent because its really loud.

Provincial park so nothing spectacular, but a nice, well maintained campground full of friendly campers. Always enjoy camping here.

Lovely campground along the St. Lawrence. Good sized sites. Not a ton of privacy on the trailer sites. LOTS of sites for tents!
