What a pleasant find! I got cabin 111 and the facilities are so good, a cutesy little place to stay, the stove heated up quickly and it has everything you could want and more. The front desk lady was so kind and showed me where everything was on a map. A walking trail, cute pond area with a picnic table, a hut tub and sauna. Wow so good. Very fairly priced and a great little spot to stop for the night

Stayed at a cottage for 2 nights and it was spacious with great layout and well equipped for the 5 of us! It has a fully equipped kitchen, full size fridge. We were also amazed with so many amenities onsite, e.g. scenic pond, trail, fire pit with woods, patio, playground, colourful miniature houses, pool, hot tub, sauna, and a pool table! So much so that we didn’t have enough time to do everything besides exploring the Soo. The staffs were very friendly and helpful! When we had any questions, the staffs were very responsive and addressed any issues quickly. Overall, this stay has exceeded my expectations and I’d love to stay again on my next visit.

TLDR: Overall it was a nice stay, if your looking for something for the family this is the place to stay. We stayed in one of the cottages and not the camp ground. The experience was very good, they have everything you need for a small getaway or for an overnight stay. The towels were clean and they make sure you have more than enough in your cottage for your stay. The sheets, pillows and the beds were clean and comfortable. You can tell that the cottages have been around for a while but is starting to see some attention every thing worked (Ac/heater, stove, coffee machine, hot water, lights) but you will find that there is some attention that needs to be put in to the smaller things.

The place was clean for the most of it. Very clean and fresh smelling. The reason for the low review is solely for the sofa bed and "Queen sized" bed. As all sofa beds, they are not comfortable to lounge on. As for the QUEEN SIZED BED", it was on a double sized box spring! This was in cabin 111. The threshold at entrance door was rotted off as well. A minor issue, the smoke detector flashes a red light every 30 seconds to detect smoke, a good thing. Not a good thing is not being able to close the bedroom door shut so you could hide from the flashing red light. Bring your own cooking/eating necessities. We were fortunate enough for them to bring a frying pan. We are not use to the water in this area, the smell would probably be OK for most other people.

The beginning of our trip was very eventful and time-consuming. We had an automobile breakdown that thankfully to the kindness and generosity of others was rectified and we were able to get back onto the road. We were six hours behind schedule. Thankfully, from that point on, it was smooth sailing all the way to the campground. We had called ahead to let the campground know we would be arriving significantly later than closing time, and when we arrived around midnight, our package was readily available. Everything was clearly labelled and mapped out, which made it easy for us to find our spot. The staff were more than happy to help and showed a great deal of patience with our situation, which we truly appreciated. The next day, we walked to the main office, where we were greeted warmly by the owner. They had a big smile and were genuinely eager to help us finish setting up and prepare for our visit with our daughter. One particularly thoughtful gesture was when the owner offered us a generous supply of free wood for our campfire. We truly felt welcomed and valued, thanks to their kindness and helpfulness throughout our stay. As for the campground itself, the sites are spacious and accommodating, with water, electrical, and sewer hookups available for your trailer. There is enough room to park two vehicles comfortably, and the washrooms are very clean. The park area is wonderful for kids, and all the other amenities—including the swimming pool and hot tub—were well maintained and enjoyable. Overall, I would definitely recommend this campground as an ideal spot to drop your trailer and enjoy some much-needed relaxation. Thank you again to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable.
