I stayed one night at this campsite, and that’s where it will stay. You do have a private terrace, but otherwise, you are just looking at the other campers. The host absolutely does not monitor noise disturbances throughout the evening/night, and early in the morning, the noise from children was not addressed at all. The whole campground was kept awake because of this. Then there are the showers. I think even prisons have better showers. The water pressure is so incredibly strong that it feels like it’s blasting your skin off. There’s hardly any light, and all your belongings get wet, even if you hang them three meters away from the shower. The pressure is so strong that it makes the entire shower area wet, and they don’t bother with shower curtains. How hard is it to replace a showerhead? Also, there’s no bench, whether it’s in the shower or outside the showers, making it a challenge to change shoes. Yes, it’s a primitive campsite, but that doesn’t mean it has to be this bad. It’s a real shame because the location is beautiful, but for us, never again. I understand that it’s a State Park campground, but that doesn’t mean the facilities should be so poorly maintained and equipped. No, it doesn’t have to be luxurious, nor should it be, but it should at least be up-to-date. This was just unacceptable.

We stayed in the yurt which was amazing. Staff was friendly and the camp host took time to interduce himself. Facilities were clean and well kept.

Pros: Clean and well-maintained—bathrooms, hot showers, cooking area, and a beautiful campground. Also, dog friendly! Cons: Campsites are very close together, so there’s little privacy when it’s crowded. You can hear everything from the next site. It’s an incredible stargazing spot, but you’ll need to be silent and still if anyone nearby is sleeping. If you’re looking for a well-maintained, clean campsite, this is the one. But if you’re more into dispersed camping like us, it might feel a bit too strict with too many rules and pressure.

Great campground, but do not go if high winds are expected. We couldn’t even walk around because the dirt whips up into your eyes (even with glasses on). I would totally visit again under better weather conditions. The free camping outside of it is also nice.

Goblin Valley State Park camping facility that is well kept up and allows for showering, flushing toilets, and an area to eat (with fire pit) and setup your tent. First time there and enjoyed the campsite and the little bit of exploring we did on some of the trails. It has garbage and water as well for you to use. I would recommend getting there sooner and to make sure your tent has good stakes to hold for windstorms. Would go back and hope that your neighboring camp sites do not have people that snore or stay up too late talking.

Fantastic camping location. The night sky was like nothing I have ever seen before. The camp site also had fantastic bathroom and shower facilities which made the stay even better. There are so many trails to hike and things to explore that you could be occupied for weeks and still not see it all. My only regret was that I didn't book more days. I will for sure be going back again!

Campground facilities are well kept by the friendly and capable staff, and offer an excellent variety of activities. There's a group camping site with a covered pavilion sheltering several picnic tables. An 18 'hole' disc golf course makes its way around much of the perimeter of the campground, and there's even a little stage with a few rows of benches for your attentive gathering. Mountain bike trails, and 4x4 ATV and dirt bike areas, each offer a getaway directly from the campground property. Hot and cold running water in the restrooms and showers round out this gem of a campground that's hiking distance from the main population of the hoodoos of Goblin Valley state park.

Great campground with wonderful views. There isn't much space between campsites so we did have to sleep in our car one night because we had very loud neighbors who were drunk and were yelling after quiet hours (10 pm) and didn't feel safe approaching them. The campsites have ants, a lot of them. Last time we camped here, the toilets didn't flush so make sure before you "go." Other than that, it was great and doesn't get better when so close to the Swell.

I would have given 5 stars; but the showers/bathrooms were broken when we went there for camping. Having that accessible would have made a huge difference. The park and what it has to offer is amazing! We will return.
