This is a lovely campground just outside of Golden, BC. The sites are a bit of a walk from the washrooms, but the facilities are quite nice as is the owner/operator. It's nestled in the beautiful Columbia R valley north of Radium Hot Springs.

Golden Riverfront is a beautiful campsite in a stunning location, close to Golden which is a lovely friendly town. Right from checking in where we were met with a very friendly helpful staff member who showed us our pitch. The toilets and washroom are lovely, very clean with free hot showers and a family room with shower, sink and toilet in it. There is also an airbnb above. The serviced RV sites are great, they feel very private and we were on the edge so we had a lovely view of the landing field. The whole site feels very peaceful and relaxing with stunning mountain views and very few mosquitos at all. All in all we had a perfect stay in Golden Riverfront and if we come back to this area in the future (we are from UK) we will definately come back here. Thank you

Clean newer bathroom facilities. Showers were hot and free. 24hr laundry and dump area on site. Treed in site with full services and no issues. Was quiet for us and enjoyed the view of the open field with mountain backdrop. Easy to get into town and access to all major routes for day trips. Accommodating hours and easy to arrange doggy daycare when we did some day trips. Fenced and shaded area for pups. Mosquitoes were NEXT LEVEL. Had to set up a serious bug coil defense and bathed in spray. Sometimes couldn't be outside without being eaten alive! Enjoyed our stay. Don't blame the mosquitoes - come prepared.

This is a beautiful campground with wonderful amenities like a very clean wash house with showers, toilets and ample counter space. The office staff was helpful and friendly and there were lots of games etc that were free to use. Yes, there are mosquitoes, and lots of them. Just come prepared and you’ll be fine. When it was windy and sunny there were NO bugs and I happily laid out on the deck of the yurt. We originally booked a tent spot but realized that our tent jumped ship at some point on our trip, luckily they had a yurt available. The yurt was pretty cozy, there’s a bed, bedside table and a little loveseat. It was raining the first night and there was a drip that came inside, but otherwise it was pretty cool. The views are stunning and it looks like an awesome place to bring your dog. They have a doggy daycare which we didn’t use, but thought it was cool. They were also offering donation based yoga classes which we didn’t take part in, but thought I’d mention.

The only real downside of this campsite was the overwhelming number of mosquitoes , even with insect repellent, they just wouldn’t stop biting. It definitely cut our night short since we had to go into our tent early, and we left earlier than planned too. That said, the location itself is great , close to a small town for quick supply runs, and they have a clean, free washroom with showers, which isn’t always the case in other spots. If it weren’t for the mosquitoes, this would’ve been an ideal place to camp.
