This is not a legitimate long-term living facility even though they advertise it.(FRAUD & DECPETION of BUSINESS PRACTICES)—it operates like a hotel with long term resident for over 10 years. They bypass basic tenant protections. Based on my experience as a long-term resident, management’s conduct raises serious concerns regarding compliance with local municipal codes and Alaska statutes governing landlord-tenant relationships. They facilities are disgusting and not taking care of. Washing dishes in showers, broken laundry machines, and decrepit buildings and lots. Despite having a valid agreements and paid rent, I was subjected to intimidation tactics by staff and security. Security personnel appeared unlicensed and untrained, and their approach was aggressive, including threats to remove me and my property without lawful process. This is unacceptable and, in my view, crosses into harassment. There is a clear disconnect between how management treats long-term occupants versus what Alaska law requires. Tenants should not be dealing with coercion, threats, or informal “enforcement” instead of proper legal procedures. If you are considering staying here beyond a short visit, be extremely cautious. Document everything and understand your rights before entering any agreement.

This was a great park. Right in Anchorage so a great place for collecting or dropping off your RV. Good clean facilities with loads of washers and dryers.

We stopped here with 24 Newmar coaches and it was perfect. Our side had 30 amp power, plus s/w hookups. Good price, a bit tight on spacing, but all the big rigs fit. We will be back with another caravan.

We ended up staying for 3 weeks instead of 3 days, waiting on our truck repairs. The staff were great, and we felt very safe. The sites are big enough for our 27’ travel trailer and a truck next to it. The laundry was the cheapest I have seen for months. Yes, the campground could use some TLC, but I have no complaints. I would definitely stay again. Plus it’s in town and everything is close by.

Very tight spots as others have noted. Barely any room after slide outs. My water was being used by someone behind the fence for lawn, had to disconnect it before use. Tree lines not properly trimmed or maintained, expect foliage to touch roof. Bathroom and showers were clean. Location is convenient.

Jay&Dee RV

It is a TIGHT RV park with improperly measured sites. Several of us were hanging out into the road. They tried to put a 46' Luxe into a 30' travel trailer site. Admittedly, many RVers up here have rentals and don't know their size or how to back-in. The park is clean and the back part is isolated from road noise. There is a security company that cruises through very regularly. Power is strong at 124vac and it is pretty level.

It's so much better than I thought based on pics that were available when I booked in May-25. The lot was clean, and they were even re-working some sites. Bathrooms and showers were clean, not necessarily the newest but definitely ok, and included in the price. It was quiet, and they had private security on-site. We took an Uber into town, wasn't a problem at all to get one, and the ride was about 10 minutes. Close to costco and walmart, which makes it a great spot if you need a first night to check your RV rental and stock up on things before you hit the road. Also, for international travellers: some rental companies might not let you leave Anchorage if you had an 8+hr flight. This is a great option. I booked via email, and when we arrived rather late, they called in advance and let me pay via phone, and sent me all details by e-mail. The security guy on-site would have helped us otherwise, he was very helpful.

Given the area, they do a really good job keeping the less fortunate and addicted (politically correct purposes only) out!!!! We stayed there for 4 months without a single incident. The staff were very helpful and security does a great job with what they have to work with. Once you leave the property, be extremely cautious. If you decide to offer outsiders help, just know you are increasing the chances of becoming a victim. It happens every single day.

Served us very well. We pulled our camper from Tennessee and used the golden nugget as our “base” to keep our camper as we came and went exploring Alaska for a couple of weeks. I liked the tight security because we had to offload fuel, spare tires, supplies and a generator which we stored under the camper. No one bothered a thing.

The sites are very level making it easy. The water connection lakes at tap. Multiple were leaking a fair amount even when not hooked up. The overall place is nice. Clean. Large laundry area. Many broken machines but marked appropriately. Shower area private. Clean. Would return

This place was exactly what we needed after such a long journey. We had been on the road 8 days, 2 vehicles, a u-haul, travel trailer, pets, & they were able to accommodate us late evening. The staff are friendly & helpful, as is security, the bathrooms and showers are spacious and clean. 5 stars. Will stay here anytime we are in Anchorage. Thank you!

Place is in a great location. Bathrooms where clean and quiet. But no food or drinks. The staff and security is the issue here. Most rudest from what I've seen and heard. A. Samoan staff or security officer driving big black truck offered some young lady to go meet him down the street since she got caught in the shower trespassing. Herd him say " it's clean you just got showered rite??" While the little gal looked at him in a disgusting manner before walking away shacking her head like she couldn't even believe what she was just asked. Scary to think the people like that working and t.

The Local

This place is awesome! Very nice place, clean and quiet. The Staffs are very friendly. They give pandemic discounts for everybody. There's a park across the street which is good for dogs and kids. Restaurant, gas station and grocery stores are not far from this place. Will come back again and definitely staying here again. THANK YOU!
