This is our 5th year staying at Golden Shore RV resort. It is easy to get to (if you need to be in Long Beach). The sites are a decent size for being in downtown. Easy to back into for our trailer. Common sense with keeping your things protected is needed but the resort does its best to be gated and secure.

Stayed here for 3 nights early October, absolutely great site. We booked this due to the location being so convenient for our Cruise America drop off centre. The pitch was great, everything was in good working order and you had a good amount of space and privacy. Made use of the great laundry facilities and the pool during our stay. The toilets are currently being refurbished but this was mentioned on booking and is written all over their website too, hopefully they will be up and running again soon. Loads of transport in the area too and the beach is just over the road. It was slightly rowdy one night but it wasn't too late and they shut it down pretty quickly. Overall great experience!

Last time we camped at Golden Shore was during the Covid BS. I was pleasantly surprised with the condition of the park. Everything looked well groomed, the sites seemed more manicured and the facilities seem to have been updated. I would think the city maintenance could take some lessons from you and clean up the bike path! Wish you had pickleball....

We’ve been RVing for 15 years. It is almost impossible to find an RV park near a big city. Not only is Golden Shore RV Resort near a big city, it’s IN a big city. And it is secure with a coded gate. You can walk to the main attractions, to Shoreline Village, to restaurants galore or to take the Catalina Express to Catalina. Not only is it well-located, but it well cared for too. Most sites have hedges which are trimmed often and lots of palm trees. When you arrive, you’ll find your site raked and pristine. The office staff is polite, friendly and very helpful. For an RV park of this caliber, it is VERY reasonable. And did I mention that they have one of the best websites for reservations? They have a lovely little garden where you can sit and contemplate your good fortune. It even inspired me to sketch it!

Golden Shores RV Park – Long Beach, CA Stayed here for the Long Beach Marathon and couldn’t have picked a better spot! The park is clean, well-kept, and super convenient to everything. It was awesome having such a comfortable place to come back to after all the marathon excitement. Everyone was friendly — both the staff and other guests — and I ended up meeting some really great people during my stay. The vibe is laid-back and fun, and it’s such a nice little community feel. Would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Long Beach! Great location, great people, and a great time all around.

I recently stayed here and was blown away by the cleanliness and amenities and if that were all I were rating this on it would get 4 stars. However the overall disrespect the women at the front desk had from the very first hello was unbearable. I would choose to stay 10 out of 10 times at a less convenient resort then to have to deal with them again. They must be a popular place because they don't need your business and they will let you know it. As far as recommendations go I would definitely skip this place and find somewhere with a more kind and welcoming environment.

15 minute walk to downtown Long Beach, 5 minutes to the ferry to Catalina. Clean, neat park, nice landscaping and sites. Sites are mostly hard packed decomposed granite, sort-of. Sounds dirty but it's not. Pretty level and clean. You'll hear city noises all the time. Gate guarded, need a code to get in, 24 hours a day. But this part of Long Beach is nice. Pool and laundry look good, all machines working. Wow $1 wash and $0.50 dry!

Absolutely loved it! Great views, VERY nice and caring customer service, everything is so clean and the security gate is a plus! Safe, nice new walkable neighborhood with a bike path, restaurants and the aquarium. Price for a week was great!! We will be back.

Very clean, well maintained sites that back up to shared lawn area with plenty of room for everyone and mature trees for shade. Great laundry and bathroom facilities that are regularly maintained and cleaned throughout day. Awesome pool and hot tub! Will definitely return next time we're in the area!

Perfect
