My reservation was originally from November until February but I extended until mid-April due to the truly great experience I had. The entire staff, from front office to landscapers, is extremely friendly and focused in providing campers with a great experience. Facilities are second to none with beautiful pools, hot tubs, ten pristine pickleball courts, beach volleyball, and many other well-maintained amenities amongst beautiful landscaping. There are many daily activities for everyone, of which several are organized by volunteers. Best of all is the temporary and permanent residents at the site. They become friends who you look forward to meeting the following season. I already booked my return for this fall when I look forward to another great experience and to meet the many friends that I made at Golden Village Palms.

This is an absolutely beautiful park with lots of activities. There is so much to do that you can be entertained the whole stay within the park. It has some of the nicest pickleball courts I have ever played in. Everything is very clean and the staff are very accommodating. The have live entertainment if you go on the right weekend and events going on that you can join in on. Definitely a nice stay.

I rented a cabin for the first time after Peyton recommended it (you can also own one within the campground). I’ve stayed at the Hampton Inn next door and found this to be a quieter and more luxurious experience. The cabin had everything I would normally expect in a hotel room and more. Towels, soap, shampoo, etc. but also had a full size kitchen with dishes and a refrigerator and freezer. I look forward to coming back with my family next time!

I’m very disappointed in my experience here. I booked Golden Village due to them being the largest RV resort in California, and their amazing “staged” photos on their website. Unfortunately it’s a major let down. For starters— their photos show cocktails and beer available at a perceived pool bar, however it does not exist. The website also boasts multiple food establishments. “The grill” has a decent online menu; however the actual restaurant has a 6-7 item limited menu and is just in their banquet room. The final straw— both the website and the packet they give you at check in says “The grill” is open until 4pm each day, but they actually close at 3pm. There is no onsite camp store or anywhere to buy anything. Their website is very deceptive. They make it seem like this is a “resort” with food and various full service amenities. In reality, it’s a large RV park with a decent pool and a guy that sells hamburgers. We will be going back to Launch Pointe in Lake Elsinore.

We rented a Park Model (cabin) for 2 months. This is our 6th year at GVP. The location of our cabin within the Park was excellent, as are the amenities and activities within the Park. The Park Model we rented needs some paint outside and inside. There were several items missing from the kitchen. We did provide a deficiency list and all items were provided the very next day (all new). The sink was leaking under the tap and under the sink (Nothing major). There was more than ample storage. We will continue to visit GVP because of the great people (other guests) we have met and many of the great staff. There are internal politics (due to inconsistency in corporate policys). This is unfortunate as this should be/ could be the best resort in California. There seems to be a lot of distraction (from simply enjoying this facility) due to these corporate policy inconsistencies. We will return and we look forward to a great experience and hope that corporate policies are more clearly defined, tightened up and followed. The location of this facility is exceptional in accessing the coastal communities, Palm Springs, Temecula and many other adventures in the region. Golf courses are great, Concerts, poker games, pickleball and other activities within the Park are exceptional. As well, the businesses in Hemet are very welcoming and respectful. If GVP policies are addressed and compliance is assured, this would be a 10 out of 10 facility. Best regards, Dave & Roslynn McRae

Recently retired and picked golden village for our first winter away from home. We really enjoyed the resort and everything they offered. Hemet is a little sketchy at times but we felt safe in the resort. Definitely would recommend to a friend!

This is a very nice place stay. We are here until next year. Quiet feel safe. Staff very helpful never rude. Could use some updating to sites need more concrete or grass. The workers on the landscape are great A little expensive but everything is that way in todays market

Right in the heart of Hemet, a beautiful oasis. Very clean facilities and grounds. Will definitely return.

We have had a good experience at the Golden Village Palms. Making a reservation with Kristopher over the phone went very smoothly, and he greeted us upon our arrival, as it turned out, and remembered our conversation. We hit a little snag with the assignment of our first parking spot for our fifth wheel, but the staff did everything possible to make that better, and went above and beyond. They really took service to heart. The park is clean and the people staying here seem to be friendly. We have also enjoyed the fact that the park is not full, so there’s a lot of open space.
