Goodland KOA Journey

Just 3/4 of a mile from I-70; we are a quiet oasis of trees, flowers and grass in Western Kansas!

This award-winning KOA is an oasis of green lawns and mature shade trees less than a mile from I-70. It's a great place to refresh and regroup! After a long day on the road, take a dip in the pool or just enjoy the abundant flowers. You'll find 30/50-amp, full-hookup Pull-Thru RV Sites, Back-In RV Sites, basic water and electric sites and Tent Sites. Or try a Cabin with A/C for hot summer days! Free Wi-Fi offered throughout the park. Goodland's High Plains Museum contains a replica of America's first patented helicopter, built by two local men in 1909. Near the city park, a giant 32-foot-high replica of Vincent van Gogh's famous sunflower painting rises on an 80-foot easel, a tribute to Kansas' status as the Sunflower State. Less than an hour north of Goodland, hike and mountain bike on quiet country roads dotted with yucca and prairie flowers throughout the rugged Arikaree Breaks, a cluster of badlands along the Arikaree River. Pool: Memorial Weekend - Labor Day Weekend. Max pull thru: 95 feet. Your hosts: Ray & Alex Gruenfeld.

Cannot say enough about this place. Staff so friendly. Great location and quiet!!! You can find other campgrounds cheaper in area but we saw they were lousy. We had a big pull though site with a picnic bench. Definitely worth staying here !!!!

Goodland is a small Kansas town with a nice little local history museum. The campground was well kept and cle. We only heard the trains after 7:00 AM other than that, the park was quiet. The park had two off leash dog parks and a short walk away was a great city run dog park.

Great overnite rv spot. Laundry rm is lovely, showers & restroom adequate (not ada friendly) and waste dump was very clean. Customer service was exceptional. ...and the wicked witch was stuck under the building behind my site.

This KOA is 100% 5 stars!!! The owners are so nice. The whole campground is beautiful. The bathrooms are updated and always smell clean and have a “spa” feel. The little store has a nice variety of items. It’s very easy to check in. If you have dogs they give you treats and have many dog stations around the whole CG. The camp spots are evenly spaced. It’s the only CG we stay at when traveling through. Thank you Cindy for always welcoming us!!

This was such a clean and pretty KOA! The staff obviously love this place - so many cute details... even the bathrooms were pretty!! Seriously, I very much appreciate a clean shower and this was one of the nicest I've used at a KOA. Cindy and Garrett greeted us and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Every detail is well thought out and the campground is impeccable. We used the laundry facility as well - very clean. We were only here for one night on a long trip, but we would stay here again the next time we pass through.
