Honestly never leave reviews, but felt the need too here. Staff need’s a reality check. Just threw up some tents and rented a a golf cart then got scolded for “driving over 5 mph” I could not drive that thing any slower than I was, and If I was going over 5, it was maybe 6mph. Then he jumped on a tractor for all the local drunks and going at least 10-15 mph. I remember having fun as a kid here, but things have changed drastically.

Gordon's is a great place to camp. I've been going up there. I raised my grandkids up there for 37 years

Run Down The bathrooms have not been updated since we started going there in 2016. The roads are loaded with golf carts and the people walking have to move for them. This campground should be called Gordon's golf cart grounds. We were told to put our bikes away at dusk even though we had more lights and tail lights then the golf cart (Colts no tail lights driven by a juvenille ) that was in front of me taking it back to my camp site. We use to have to come in early to get a spot however this time there were so many empty spots and I see why. Marijuana, drunk golf cart drivers, unkept facilities, I mean really no paint in the restrooms in 9 yrs ?? for $300.00 for the weekend I will go elsewhere. Good Bye Gordons not worth the money ....

Paid for 2 months and left in 1 months and never got the refund back, they are rip-off and I would not recommend this campground to no family or friends at all. I only have 1 rating but would rather give the campground 0 rating. So no I asboutley think they are totally wrong .

The campground is in a state of severe disrepair, resembling a forgotten relic of a bygone era. The sewer system is completely nonfunctional, creating a pervasive stench that hangs in the air. Water spigots drip incessantly, creating a symphony of irritating splashes that never seem to cease. Daily power outages cast an eerie darkness over the site, leaving visitors in uncertainty. The playground equipment, rusted and warped, presents a hidden danger to children, potentially exposing them to lead poisoning. The swimming pool, once a refreshing oasis, is now a murky cesspool, filled with debris and grime. The restrooms are a shocking sight; they are dirty, unkempt, and emit an overwhelming odor that deters anyone from wanting to enter. Overall, the entire campground feels like an abandoned ghost town, far from the family-friendly retreat it once promised to be.
