If you’re staying in Monument Valley, this is the place to stay! Incredibly friendly and welcoming service from check in/out, the restaurant, gift shop. It’s minutes from a grocery store and gas station and a few minutes drive to Monument Valley. Rooms were clean and spacious with beautiful views. A great patio to sit out on too! So happy with everything about our stay at Goulding’s Lodge.

Amazing views and resort. Cant beat waking up to sunrise in monument valley. Tour was outstanding and our guide had so much to add to the local history. So many westerns filmed in the area and for good reason. THIS is the way to do Monument Valley. We’ll be back!

Beautiful historic location with restaurant, gas station and large grocery store.. Beautiful views depend on where you are though, we were in a cabin park with a kitchen and a separate bedroom about 500 meters away from the lodge which was nice but was not as clean as it should be..There is no view except for the cabins in the front row ofcourse. The restaurant is reasonable but unfriendly unfortunately.. Staff by the reception was welcoming! Also the museum which is about the lodge itself is very interesting! Overall great stay and I would still recommend it to anyone!

Goulding’s began as a trading post in the 1920s and now blends lodge, museum, cabins, RV & campground facilities. Prime location for Monument Valley access: It’s right on Navajo land near the Arizona–Utah border, giving guests close proximity to Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. Views are a major draw: Waking up to sweeping valley vistas and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Good amenities for the remote setting. Pricing can feel steep, but that's your only option really. The lodge offers a small indoor pool (open year-round), a restaurant on-site (Stagecoach Dining Room), and tour services using Navajo guides (that was really awesome) . The rooms at the lodge where we stayed, are 2 room cabins with a kitchenette. It was a very pleasant experience Decent value given limited options in the area Because lodging options near Monument Valley are scarce, many guests feel the lodge is a compelling choice, despite its limitations.

The view of this place is incredible, waking up early to see the sunrise is just amazing. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this for families with young kids although they have a swimming pool. The rooms are spacious and they have a balcony so you can enjoy the amazing view. For those who like strong coffee and are disappointed with American coffee, their in-room brew machine with pods is pretty decent.

This is the best place to stay while visiting. Beautiful comfortable rooms, gorgeous view from each room. It’s a place you can stay and not have to worry about going into town for groceries or petrol. Everything is there within minutes. Our maid took great care in preparing our room.(room 106). The staff were all super attentive, the gift shop was great too! Best birthday weekend and we will be back! Goulding’s is the best!

Overall a good stay. Hotel is dated but its worth the stay especially with the views! 10 min from forest gump point, 5 min down the road from monument valley drive…grocery store and gas station near by. Restaurant wasn’t bad, had the steak and it was decent food. There’s not a whole lot of options for hotel in this area, overall except for the 80s theme outdated decor, the hotel stay was nice.

What a treat! We got a cabin for two nights and it was clean and lovely! The view was outstanding but we had to hear vehicles going over a cattle guard over and over again. There is store, a gas station, an indoor pool. There is a restaurant. It gets busy for supper and it is not fully staffed yet. The menu is limited. They are doing the best they can but the $3.99 Diet Coke was flat and my husband’s burger that came 20 minutes after my entree was ice cold. We didn’t complain because the staff was being rocked by waves of hungry guests. Perhaps plan on an early supper. We will stay there for all future trips. The front desk staff were so lovely and accommodating!

Okay, I"m a traditionalist - I liked the old place better. The one that would be familiar to John Wayne and John Ford when they made those iconic Western movies. But it's still a jaw-dropping location with Monument Valley before you. They offer tours into the Valley with native guides (in vehicles, very limited hiking on well defined trails) which are absolutely worth the money (about $70 per person). Nothing like getting up close to these majestic outcroppings. Restaurant, rooms, gift shop all a little too slick and ordinary for me

Just gorgeous! Most beautiful rv park we have seen yet! Very friendly service, reasonably priced, 24 hour security. Have I mentioned the views and gorgeous hikes yet... Gouldings has everything you could possibly need (car wash, gas station, grocery store, restaurant, gift shop, laundry mat, historical sites.. just amazing). Monument valley can be quite a dust bowl and we had very little dust in this beautiful canyon cove.
