It was a fun trip back in time. The bed was good, shower was hot and the price was reasonable. It was better than the Days Inn in Kanab. Cleaner too. I’d stay here again.

It was dusty, not clean, mold in the shower. A shower without light and a black curtain. Water was really cold or boiling! Bed was comfy, and the pillow was nice for my back. The room itself was cranky and need a upgrade!🫣

Stayed here back in april to visit to north side of the grand canyon. We booked after 10pm while driving and the owner was extremely understanding and still waited more than 1hr to check us in (even though check in was supposed to be closed for the night). He even went futher by staying on the phone for a little while directing us where the motel was as we had no clue where we were. His exact words "the place is lit up like a christmas tree" in which it was making it super easy to find. Each room was a separate cabin which i thought was really cool, felt like you were in a log cabin in the middle of no where. Cant go wrong booking a room for a few nights while staying on the north side of the canyon, i recommend staying here especially if you're from the city. Its a great place to just get out and relax outside the city.

Perfect value for money. The cabins are simple, but you can see that the owner maintains them with simple means but a lot of love. We particularly liked the green courtyard in a desert-like setting. In the morning, deer and hummingbirds come into the garden.

It’s an old small town motel. Not for the spoiled and entitled. So, considering what it is and for the price, it was great. The location was right off the highway, great parking, and a beautiful yard and lots of area to walk your pets. The motel has 12 different rooms split into 6 units. They are over a hundred years old but pretty well maintained. There were a few small things that needed attention but nothing to deserve 4 stars. Our room, number 12, even had a small kitchenette. The has wall heater worked really well and so did the hot water heater. The room had a microwave, fridge, hairdryer, wifi, a comfy bed, an extra blanket, and a single serve coffee pot with good coffee and was clean. Also, no bugs. It covered the basics well! I actually loved how different and unique the place was compared to more modern places. The folks there very nice. If we come back through, we will definitely stay again.

Cute little cabins and got a good price for one night. Beds and pillows were pretty comfortable. Everything was pretty clean except shower needed a little more cleaning(some left over hairs). They have been remodeled with nice materials but looks like a home done job. NOT ever cabin had a kitchen. The shower is tiny and I'm 5'3". Anyone taller than 5'5" wouldn't be comfortable. The hot and cold water are switched and there is funky value to turn it on No coffee filter and not enough coffee left to make a cup. Also be ready to hear you neighbors and traffic.

Stayed here on the way to the North Rim. Cozy cabins. VERY clean and comfortable. The owner was very nice. Sat outside at night and could see the stars clearly. We would definitely return.

Great price, great service! Room was excellent. Quiet. Let me have my dog without issue or exorbitant fees. My room had a king-sized bed, tv with lots of channels, work space, kitchenette with small refrigerator. Parking right outside the duplex. It is a great property with a nice couple. Very homey.

This little place is perfect. I was coming off of a camping trip in the wilderness and it was exactly what I needed. Very friendly staff and a cool little place to stay. I almost stayed another night because it was so comfortable. Give this place a shot!

We were on our way to Bryce Canyon when we passed the Grand Canyon Motel. We didn’t want to spend a bunch of time later on looking for a place so we stopped in. It is definitely an older motel, which could lead to some charm. The girl met me at the desk; a room with a king size bed is $55! I asked to look at room and it looked fine. I reserved it. I then started looking at the reviews and started having second thoughts; I will let you read them but I rather tell you the current state. New ownership and management over last three months have started this place to look and feel nice. The new manager is very dedicated to having a very worthy place to stay. The management was very open to suggestions as well. We had a really good night of sleep. And you know what, Teddy Roosevelt stayed on the property when he was staking out the Grand Canyon (probably in tent, the motel wasn’t there then). Give it a go.
