Beautiful RV Park in the Grand Ecore rec area near the Red River. Lots of birds and wildlife in a beautiful setting. Full hookups at each site, all level and paved. Picnic tables and fire rings at the sites. There is a playground, pool, splash pad, shower/bath house, fire pit area and a free laundry room. $40 a night. We stayed a week and will come back our next time through.

Nicest RV park we have ever stayed ! Paved road and level concrete sites. The bath house was sparkling clean, plentiful and private individual shower/toilet rooms. There are 3 washers and 4 dryers in the laundry room, all free of charge. There is a separate conference center building w kitchen available for events. We were with a group of fiberglass campers, so we gathered outside around a fire pit. It is a short drive into the historic town. Next to the campground is a boat ramp and access to the Cane River. We liked how friendly everyone was, and the Southern / French / easy going vibe there.

Calm and surrounded by nature. Staff was friendly and smiling and the area is beautiful. Two playgrounds= awesome. However, the pool was closed when we visited 😔 We travel only with the RV - and Über/the likes does not exist here. The sites themselves are huge (biggest yet) and the grounds are well-kept, green and nice - except the bathrooms. The bathrooms are quite rustic and not so clean - but there are many. The laundry is free, however only one out of three washings machines was operating and the dryer took forever to dry the clothes. Would prefer machines that worked and paying - but maybe that’s just us. Overall a nice spot with minor things that could be better. A small shop onsite would also be a great move. Everything is gated and it’s very calm - there was also a lounge room of some sort, but when we went to check it out a bunch of old peeps eyed us down… sooo we didn’t go in 😅👀 didn’t seem open to all. Or maybe some private event was going on. There’s easy access to a river for fishing/sailing for those who enjoy that. Also kudos for the walking trail with exercise equipment along the way - loved that. Would absolutely recommend for nature-lovers, but make sure to bring everything you need - and a car to explore the area.

We stayed here in January and are still talking about how awesome this park is! The sites and all concrete and level. The playground was in great condition and large! Our kids picked up the fallen pecans for hours every day! Laundry is FREE and the washer/dryers are in great condition. The staff was so friendly. We will be staying here again.
