This campground is good for an overnight stay. I wouldn’t want to stay for longer than that. The grass wasn’t cut, the swimming pool wasn’t open, and all the games in the game room weren’t on. It’s also beside a gravel road, and a race car kept going up and down the road causing a lot of dust (not KOA’s fault but still a factor to consider). The bathrooms were in good shape, so that’s a big plus.

This place is a dump. I've stayed at dozens of KOAs in my life and this park should not be charging more than 30 dollars a night. But for close to 100, here's what you get: Gravel roads with crater-size potholes and dust everywhere Unlevel sites Sites that are on top of each other w literally zero privacy Loud and inconsiderate neighbors, no one on site from management to keep rules enforced (I called to complain and because they have no one here, they literally had to call the police and that took close to an hour) Looks like they literally took farmland, threw some sewer water and electric at it and called it a day (and a KOA). Avoid at all costs. It is clear that the owners just don't give a crap about investing in the park and aren't ashamed to charge top dollar for terrible sites.

We've stopped here for one night going west and then when returning east for many years now. It has seen better years. I can't remember the last year that pizza was available. But-the gravel/rock roads and sites were freshly graded. We arrived a few minutes after the office closed/our reservation with site information was ready for the "after hours" arrival. Everything worked (full hook ups) though I'm not sure who designed the sewer connection to be 4-6 inches high. Water pressure good, power was clean/stable. Lots of room to walk dogs, probably 50+ signs to remind owners to clean up after their pets. 2 fenced in dog areas. A nice play area for kids. Likely give this place another chance or two.

We stopped for one night on our way home. Office was closed when we arrived, but our reservation envelope was left for us with very clear instructions. Easy pull through, large site. 2 dog parks, one on each side of campground. Although you can see I-80, you really can't hear it. Wi-fi worked great for us. Highly recommend.

“I had a wonderful stay at the Grand Island KOA. The campground was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment for relaxation. I want to give a special shout-out to Heidi and Candy at the front desk. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the check-in process smooth and providing valuable information about the campground’s amenities. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced my experience. I highly recommend this KOA to anyone looking for a pleasant camping experience.”

According to a reg koa customer this place had the best facilities! This was my first experience and it was very comfortable; convenient off i80, lots of surveillance, clean private bathrooms & friendly staff!

My family showed up very late at night in the middle of a bad wind storm followed by more severe weather. While no attendant was on, we were able to fill out paperwork at the front door and got a space for our rv for the night. There was a storm shelter if we had needed it. We got all the hookups we needed and the park was beautiful. So grateful for this KOA!!

We stayed one night at a spot with a large yard and patio. Really pleasantly surprised at how nice our spot was. Very private and worth the extra money. It had a nice bench, gas grill, brick fire circle with chairs, and a lot of grass for our pups. 3/4 of the spot had a privacy fence around it. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The entire campground was very clean. A nice pool, playgrounds, and dog areas. We will definitely stay here, again.
