Beautiful and quiet state park with a nice beach. Somehow we were the only ones here, which was very nice! The staff here are also kind. We saw some washed up Portuguese Man of Wars on the beach, and there's a lot of birds here. I'd definitely recommend stopping here if you're a birder like me.

Great place to camp! Sites are level and paved. Nice site size and plenty of room between campers. Each site has water and electric, and there is a dump station on site. Very quiet and peaceful and a short walk to beach for relaxing or fishing. Also lake in park to fish. Laundry on site and was clean and reasonable priced. Bathhouses need a deep cleaning and remodel. They are not in good shape. Recommend and will be back, excellent location and camp host was awesome help!!! Remember to bring the bug spray❤️

Very nice RV/tent park in the state park, situated between a lagoon and the ocean (no views of either), but a short walk to both. Quiet and relaxing (except during their season (June, July, and August) with the main attraction being fishing (trout, red fish). Sites are electic and water only, with a dump station on site.

Small 49 site campground within walking distance of the beach. The beach was cleaner and nicer than expected and was a nice respite from the heat. I wish dogs were allowed on leash, but I suppose it's because some just won't clean up after their dogs. Well worth the scenic drive to get Don't forget to bring bug spray!

Remote and tucked away, this place is a gem. We are camping and the sites are nice and just a quick walk from the beach. The devastation of hurricane Ida can still be seen in the area. That is very sad… But they have done a phenomenal job of rebuilding this park. There is not a lot to do in the area but if you’re looking for quiet, relaxation and a beautiful setting, you can’t do much better than this. The beach is gorgeous and very quiet. There is a bike trail that will take you around the island. But again, if you’re looking for a whole lot to do in the area, there is not much.
