State park is good. Sites are wide and long. Beach is a long walk. Do NOT RENT from Beach Bums in town if you need a cart or side by side for the beach. Their units are not in good mechanical condition and left us stranded on the beach for hours.

One of our favorite RV sites. All flat, paved sites. Good electrical and water connections. Dump Station is very close by. More scenery. As usual, we caught enough crabs to boil for 13 people. We did drive a couple of miles to buy some larger crabs. Totally unnecessary.

Grand Isle State Park is a beautiful park with a great scenery. We walked the beach for a while and enjoyed ourselves.

Remote gem of a park. Our family has tent camped here numerous times. The worst thing is that it can be quite windy. Throughout the week, the beaches are often nearly empty. The bathrooms are pretty nice for park bathrooms.

We randomly drove here just for fun from Monroe LA. We have been to several beaches across the US and Louisiana and as far as this beach goes…. It’s ok. It’s a Louisiana beach for sure! The water is murky but hey that’s LA for you! Other than that though this quite little beach is a great spot to walk and hang out, it’s peaceful and still very pretty with lots of shells and clean bathrooms with a foot tense station. If you’re looking for a beach in LA this is a pretty great one! Also the drive through the houses and the long bridges to get here is stunning. I suggest coming here even if it’s just the drive to get here! We came on May 30, 2024!
