Mid-May thru October RV park open and busy with people and dogs. Still a nice walk and all poop wastecan stations open. Dogs must be on leash/lead. Sweetheart loop on the west end is a nice easy hike with great lake views. November to May road/walks and parking lots are plowed, very quiet and peaceful. Only three poop bag & wastecan stations available in winter. One by sledding hill on west end, one just west of North House at fish cleaning cabin and one by the historic Fish House & Neegee boat display.

This lovely town I’m the North Shore should be kept a secret. I felt like I was in Oregon and Maine at the same time - but with fresh water and lovely people.

I did not camp here, but they do offer showers for $3. Nice showers, clean and plenty of hot water.
