This campsite sits right next to a very busy road, 18 wheelers rolling up and down that road. No resting here. The campsites are right next to each other, literally you can see and here the person next to you. There are many permanent trailers and they are not well kept. The leaves were everywhere and before you say, it's fall ... The grounds were covered, roads barely stood out, thank goodness they escorted us to the site. We would have never found it. There were activities but no one notified us of when or where. We do not recommend this campground at all. Maybe in the summer if, big if, you like noisy places but for us IT IS A NO THANK YOU. Live and learn. Pictures included of how close the road is to the sites. The other thing was the Wi-Fi, working ... Nope! They also had a hayride, through the campground, that was it when they had trails in the back. The were also cutting wood during the day. Seemed very clanish to us, not welcoming campers at all.

Absolutely disappointed with this campground, the new owners have let to go to hell.... we used to love coming here. We stayed here over the weekend and who ever the new people are that are staying in the house have a dog that growled and barked at us everytime we went by it. Down in the river has gone to crap also. The prices have been raised ridiculously high now. We used to camp here for a while with the old owners that would greet you with a smile and do stuff for the kids. Now its just a shitty campground going to crap. And sucks because we really enjoyed this place. Do better people.

We reserved this campground somewhat late for the 4tb of July. My husband was assured they had overflow sites available so we took one 🙄 they put us in a gravel storage lot next to the dump station and construction. The camper next to us was maybe 3-4 feet from us. No fire pit (they will bring you a portable one) 85% of the campers are permanent spots and very run down. Crap piled under the campers, non working lawn mowers were a very common sight. The owners were nice while we were there but refused to give us any money back. We will never return to this junkyard, because that’s all it honestly is. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

This is a really nice little campground. We stayed here on our way to Missouri for 1 night. Our pull thru site had full hookups and everything worked as it should. They have a pool and lots of things for children to do. The ower is very nice and helpful. We will stop again if ever in the area.

What a nice campground. We stay for an extended Memorial Weekend. This place was like a little small town. Playground, swimming, laundry, ping pong, volleyball, firepits, guest activities, etc. The staff and guests were very helpful, polite, and welcoming. We joined a planned activity of campground bingo. Guests were respectful of noise and cleaning up their campsite after the weekend. This campground was located very close to many handy shops and restaurants but still secluded.

Great little spot! The kids loved being right by the park and arcade! Definitely will go back for another visit!

Stayed the night while traveling cross country from NH to AZ. The owner was very accommodating since reservation was made for same day, last minute two hours before arrival. We are new to owning a travel trailer and did not have the right adapter for the electrical connection. We offered to buy one on-site but he said we could borrow one for the night and hooked it up personally. Super nice people. Site was really well maintained with a beautiful creek running through the property. Not too far off the highway. Would definitely stay here again. Wanted to stay longer but didn't have the time

Nice campground with great owners. We broke down about 15 minutes from the CG on July 3rd, and Mark came to tow our 5th wheel. We were supposed to stay 3 nights and ended up staying 7 weeks+. They made room for us with a FHU on a busy holiday no less. We're very grateful for their hospitality along with the nice people who come to the park on the weekends.

Absolutely loved this campground! They couldn't have been more accommodating, making sure that we had everything that we needed! They have a heated swimming pool, which gets covered every night. The bathrooms and showers were clean. They sell ice at a very reasonable price. They don't markup prices to an outrageous amount like most other places do. The sites were nice, very clean park and nicely mowed lawns. The people here are very friendly and helpful. You couldn't ask for a nicer campground! I would definitely stay here again, and I would recommend this place to anyone!

This park was very quite, not very many people on the weekend. And no one during the week. There is a nice trail, that takes about 20 minutes to complete. The trail takes you over water and by a cornfield and goats. The pool was extremely clean and very warm! They have a game room with ping pong, paid pool, paid air hockey and a few other paid games. The site I parked my camper was nice and level which is always a plus. The quiet time is earlier than all other campgrounds that I have stayed at starting at 10PM even on the weekend. And it is enforced! We did not realize this the 1st night and my kids were asked to leave the park by the owner. Fires are to be out by 10! Sleeping was a bit tough as this campground is located on a busy road with Semi's and traffic all through the night. My camper was 20-30ft from the road so I could feel the semi's rumble by. I did not like that my fire pit was located on the opposite side of my camper by the sewage lines. It felt as if I was on another campsite when I was at my fire.

Very hospitable. Owner helped me repair propane tank mounting, made a special trip to bring us an area tour booklet. Campground quiet at designated quiet time. Easy access to I-70, Cambridge city and Wilbur Wright's birthplace museum.

We had been driving for 12 hours and we decided to find a place to camp for the night. We saw the tent sign on the interstate, so we pulled off and took our chances that someone would be at Grandpa's Farm (it was mid-October, 8 pm, and we didn't call ahead). We drove in and the owners walked up to our vehicle to see how they could help. They were very hospitable, and they wasted no time getting us checked in and taking us to our site. People make the experience, snd the owners of this campground are exceptional. Thank you!!

Just stayed 2 nights passing through to and from on a trip from Mo to PA . Pulled in late and in the rain 1st night. Owners were super nice and didn't mind us dragging them out into the rain at 9:45 pm. Used a side by side to guide us to a pull through site with full hook ups. Got in early with full sun coming back through so could look around a bit. A really nice place. Recommend it.

We had such a great stay her on the first night of our cross country trip that we returned for our last night. This is a great park for families with very clean restrooms/showers, activities for children, and a quiet family friendly atmosphere. The owners are both very kind and helpful and maintain a great campground. This will definitely be our go-to for future trips.

This is our absolutely favorite place to camp. It's great for young families.
