Sites with good separation from neighbors are common, very nice. First campground I've seen with a wood cart to get the wood back to your site without making a mess in your vehicle.

Great campground, I enjoy it up here. The free firewood is not to be ignored. Especially given they have a free to use cart to help carry it back to your campground. However I did notice there's a little walking path that goes to the rear of the wood pile. It has better pieces of wood there than the paved road access. So I'd recommend sneaking around the to rear. The sites are decently sized. And pretty well isolated from each other. While not all are perfect, it's still very private. Local hiking is a bit of a trek away, at the bridge. But the trails are phenomenal and absolutely worth going to. There's tails for all levels.

Very quiet campground, decently private campsites and excellent staff. The Mongolian Yurt is very cute and well outfitted. Note: unlike many camp easy yurts in the province, this one is NOT pet friendly. Not a lot of activities at Anglin if you don't have a boat but if you're just looking for a relaxing & quiet weekend away to read a book and enjoy some walks through nature. Emma and Christopher Lake are nearby for activities and provisions

It's not a far hike from the campground. It's worth checking out as adults or with children as it is a neat piece of history. It's very easy to take places like this for granted. There's a lot of work that has gone into maintaining and preserving this place. Don't take my opinion, you should check it out yourself and be amazed!

13$ reservation fee when you drive there and have to go online is ridiculous. I’m not reserving anything I showed up and took an empty site.

Great quiet campground with lots of trees that make you feel like you are in your own private oasis. Playground for the kids, nice clean private stall showers, and easy access to firewood and garbage disposal. Bit of a drive if you want to do some hiking or see other amenities, but otherwise everything is walkable.

So beautiful. The trails, beaches and atmosphere are all wonderful. The campsites are big, comfy and private.

Awesome campground, will definitely visit again! Sites are large and very private with trees and brush between sites. Overall the campground is very well kept and quiet. There are some newer amenities including a nice playground area and the bathrooms clean. There are hiking trails within the campground and an interpretive trail that goes to the historic Anderson Cabin.

Anderson Point Campground in late August is awesome. Fewer insects, great weather, cool mornings, and a quiet campground (kids are back in school!). Well worth the trip. Lots of hiking nearby such as Jacobson Bay, the Fire Tower Trail, and even trails that enter Prince Albert National Park (Waskesiu). Great amenities nearby with canoe, kayak, and boat rentals. Anglin lake is roughly 8-10 feet deep, so very few high power boats are on the water, making for a very peaceful stay. The campground is extremely clean and has a lot of pride in it from the Great Blue Heron Provincial Park staff. Anderson Cabin is a very nice added touch of history to this campground and is within walking distance of ant campsite at Anderson Point Campground. Highly recommended for campers, tenters, outdoor enthusiasts, kayakers, canoers, and anglers. Don't forget that you're in bear country and come prepared! We never saw a single bear, but traces of them while hiking. Bear bells and bear mace are a must, but are well worth the extra effort to see the beauty this park has to offer. Less traffic and not as touristy as Waskesiu, but still has the exact same appeal!
