Just returned home from year three in a row of Great Canadian Hideaway for myself and 5 of my friends. We loved it so much after our first time that we made it a tradition. We are all in our mid to late 20's. We reserve three campsites (one for each couple). We always come together and have one big fire, cook together, eat together etc. This year was the first year where we were joined by one of our new born babies, as well as an additional friend group who came down with her two children. There was fun for every single one of us, and plenty of shade for the little ones! We have never felt rushed to go to bed. We always manage to stay up late enough to see a sky full of stars with no problems (we were up until about 2am every night with no issues). We love the on-site swimming, the pool, the mini petting zoo, and the fact that we have access to ice and extra firewood without leaving the park. The washrooms are by far the cleanest I have ever experienced at a campsite. By morning, any spider web or bug that managed to sneak in during the night is cleared out and you're waking up to a brand new washroom every morning. I absolutely love this place and recommend it to everyone I speak to. We will continue coming here every year! Thanks for amazing hospitality.

Awesome privately owned campground. We had a private tenting site and the size was quite large. Pool with lifeguard, friendly owners and staff, bathrooms and all facilities clean and better than most campgrounds I’ve visited. Would recommend this park over any of our provincial camping parks in SW Ontario.

The place is well maintained! Clean, quiet and very well cared for! Swimming pool, lake, fishing and lots of green space for our kids to run safely. Staff is friendly and helpful!

Excellent experience at this campground. The costumer service is beyond good, they were able to help us with all our inquiries. We did a tent camping and the site was very big as they serve trailers mostly. Always clean washrooms and the pool was great. Definitely would come back in a future camping.
