App wants me to give it a rooms rating but we are at a trailer park in our own trailer, so good. The campground has a nice pool, nice park and some nice camping trails. It's about 10 minutes from kincardine downtown so its a very nice location to shopping and the beach.

We've been camping for 40 years. We're versed. We're an active 60 year old couple. Pros: Pull through site was large and well maintained Facilities were clean Grounds were clean Cons: Facilities close at 9 pm and don't open until 8 am! I mean even the washrooms and showers! Wifi sucked No activities at all. We have approved camping carpets, the ones that allow water and grass to go through. We put both down. One outside the trailer and one under our dining tents. We left for the beach and when we came back the carpet under our kitchen tent was pulled up and sitting on our table. No note. I called the office to inquire saying it was a bit disturbing that someone would move everything to pull up a carpet and not even leave a note why. All the sudden two of the grounds crew come full throttle on the golf cart and say is there a problem? Well yes, our carpet was lifted, our stuff moved while we were away and no explanation. They said this carpet is not approved for our site. What? This is an approved camping carpet, accepted everywhere else, why not here? The boy got curt and said well it's not approved here. I said again why? He said well maybe at others but not here. He was not happy he was being questioned. Then I said, why didn't you wait until we returned to talk with us or leave a note? This was not a safety issue. It was not urgent. Why move our items while we're away? He said we came and checked and it was not acceptable so we moved it. That was day 1. No one and I mean no one was outside in the evening. You could hear a pin drop at 8 pm. It was odd. We sat outside and were whispering. It was weird. Oh and the gun range! Non stop firing. It was disturbing. It's too bad because the location is great to the beach and golf. But this place is sooooo boring and militant. We'll stay down the road next time. We felt like we were intruding.

Minimum stay is 7 days with no flexibility. You can’t expect someone to book 7 days. Meanwhile, they have plenty of sites available. Clearly these people are not smart business people.

Literally the worst customer service I’ve EVER experienced. I watched this horrendous “staff” member be blatantly rude to an elderly women who was simply asking for clarification. If you want to stay somewhere and feel like you’re staying in a prison, I highly suggest this place. I mean who actually wants to spend money and be happy and relaxed ? I would literally rather stay in the jungle with poison ivy than ever step foot is this trash can of a “park”

Lovely park but run by Rude, insulting and foul mouthed owners. Kids are treated like nuisances and newbies are spoken to rudely. I was told to F off when I was checking the pity of a firewood compound. Campers got together for a yard sale, the proceeds donated for travel costs to the hospital for the owners child. Thank you? HAH! Never again.

Our first time here was a complete disaster. Very rude staff, unprofessional and do not recommend this place at all. If you’re looking to have a good time seek other places.

Our site itself was nice. Good size. Pretty private. Not all the sites were as private as ours. I asked for a private site when booking and was very pleased with the selection. The pool was nice too. The playground was not great. Not very entertaining for little kids. Also, not walking distance to a lake. But a Pretty quick drive to a good beach. The biggest reason why I'm giving this site a lower rating is because the employees and their rules were intrusive. For example, once we had set up our site and camper a man pulled up to our site in a golf cart. Took a minute to finish his cigarette while my family watched him. Then he pulled a large (12 x 18 ft) burlap rug thing out of his golf cart and told us to replace our tiny mat with the burlap one. We had to take down our clothing line. Then we had to sign some paper about the mat that we were forced to use. It was very odd. And they drove around watching you a lot. So, we'll go to Inverhuron Provincial Park next time. I do not recommend Green Acres.
