I love this place. I went there on weekends with family and had a camper it's great to talk to people make new friends, and my grandpa first taught me how to fish out there. may he rip, but they also had different stuff on different days like bingo, fishing competition, and the owner, Mr. Bob was the best man I ever met they have different activities to do, but I stop going, but if Mr. Bob or his wife is reading this. Just know that I enjoyed being there, and I was in the camper in front of Gary. I think that's his name on the steep hill next to the tennis court

It's a down earth ole country feel. If your looking for top of the line amenities, this is not for you. Slow paced, family oriented, laid back, relaxing atmosphere.

The place is really old but really clean. If you are bougie this isn't for you. It is a very friendly place and great for kids. It is so peaceful there and a great place to relax.

I've been going here off and on for 40 years. Not much has changed and that's a good thing. It's always clean and well managed.

Green Acres what can I say nice clean campground with pull through sites full hook up if you want it 30or 50 amp service and propane available if needed. Lots of amenities for children as well as adults! I was happy to see they have corn hole boards two pools,a catch and release fishing lake. The staff is very accommodating as well as some of the nicest folks you’ll ever meet! Whether you overnight or stay a week or so “Green Acres is the place to be”!!!

We use to take our son camping here when he was small. It was great then. My husband and went to check it out. It looked the same. But no one came to help us. So it has new owners and I don't think they care as much. The rv spots are too close to each other.

I would have giving Green Acres 5 stars but the 3 ties I was there in 2021 and 2022 their was people there drinking, constantly heard chainsaw going, small child riding on those battery operated things. Majority of the time there was no adult in sight. I couldnt quite figure out whose child this was but my last time there I did. I stayed in the upper part of the campgrounds and I was able to find that this small child was in the lower "primitive" camping area. This upset me even more that not only was a small child riding around & even a couple times walking around unattended but the fact that there was absolutely NO WAY POSSIBLE that his parents could see him was extremely disturbing to me. The child when I asked him where his parents were at took of so i followed and saw him go to a tent that looked to have been set up for the "long haul". Tarps were hanging over top of the tent, kerosene heater was in clear site inside the tent entrance (hope they werent using that inside of that tent), was a enclosed trailor and truck there. I saw another site close to them appeared to have people living inside of there vehiches. I have been coming to Green Acres since I was a child with my parents and have never experienced this before. On my latest trip there i stayed closer to the primitive area due to the weather finally warming up and they were still there in the same place with the exact same set up. I have been there quite a few times from summer last year to spring this year. I have honestly never seen such going on here like this before. Also I have a reason to believe that me and my family were being filmed by the parents which I find to be disturbing!!! I truly hope those people didnt stay there thru out the winter with that small child and a kerosene heater. I hope the child is safe and that someone more responsible is watching over him now as well. the campground is beautiful and the owners are nice as can be. I believe they were unaware of these issues that i encountered.

Nice and quiet family oriented campground. Older facility but very well maintained. The owners and staff are most friendly and accommodating. Stayed for several weeks and definitely will return in the spring. 👍👍
