We loved our camping experience at Green Acres. The beach side lot was perfect for our family. Facilities were always kept clean and tidy. The owners were friendly, always making sure we had everything we needed! This is our second camping experience here, and we plan on making this an annual camping trip! Thank you to everyone at GA!

Booked the site in the “Beach” portion… the beach being available should’ve been the FIRST red flag about this place. All the staff were super good but.. the lady’s in the office were very rude and one just ignored us. We arrived early but were very quickly disappointed with the place. The restaurant is good everything “LOOKS” good until you pass the gate, the site is an absolute mess it’s about 1/4 full looks junky in some sites. The bathrooms were an absolute JOKE and not sanitary what so ever. If you have little ones (which we did) I wouldn’t bring them here. The “beach” is full of geese poop and is filthy. Bottle caps and garbage everywhere, all the fire pits were 1/2 full. Sites are much MUCH smaller then expected. The people who came after us/ next to us were very disappointed as well. Also there’s a “hidden” charge of an extra vehicle they won’t tell you till you get there. $10.00/ day for parking a car in a FEILD is obscured. What are we supposed to do when the vehicles are packed with our stuff… 10000% DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE AND WILL NOT BE ATTENDED AGAIN.

What a very charming place. This family owned campground went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Having a cup of coffee watching the sunrise from your own picnic table is always a spectacular bonus. The sandy water was perfect for swimming and Sheguiandah Bay was fantastic paddle. Bonus: Sheguiandah Pow Wow was this weekend and all free!!! Highly recommended. Onsite dumping $25 but they can come to you to empty the nasty and with water, electric hookup your all set. Bonus was a buffet breakfast before our long journey home. Thank you again for a wonderful week of relaxation and smiles. Cheers Caroline and Paul

Booked for 3 nights. Staff was very friendly. We had booked through Let’s camp website. Owner called me to offer me a better site than we had originally booked and when we arrived we were able to drive to preview the campsite. We ended up switching to a lovely waterfront site for the same price. The water is shallow so would be great for kids. There is a restaurant on site. We didn’t eat there but menu looks pretty good. Bathrooms are basic but have everything you need. Location is great to use as a hub while you explore the rest of the island. Recommend for no frills travelers.
