Came to visit my sister and her family on two occasions. It is a beautiful community with the playscape, duck sanctuary and pond and even a convenience store in the community. The townhomes are beautifully and functionally designed with large rooms, a gated backyard complete with a shed.

Stayed here for six weeks in April and May 2024. Green Caye RV Park in Dickenson, Texas, is a short and long-term RV park subdivided into the larger Green Caye Village, a mobile home and apartment community. Just down the street from Dickenson High School, the massive property is gated with a separate entrance for the RV Park. Amenities for RVers include a convenient store that sells most of the essentials if you forgot something, a brand new clubhouse with laundry room, and sparkling clean showers and restrooms. You will find more showers and restrooms next to the sparkling blue pool near the office. The laundry room is upgraded with plenty of new machines and a simple laundry card payment machine you can load using a debit or credit card. The clubhouse was so new in May that the outdoor kitchen area and firepit were still being built and installed. Short-term stays are available, too, so Green Caye RV Park is the perfect spot for families wanting to visit Galveston and Houston attractions during their stay. The newer section has pull-through spaces, but the back-in spots are large and easy to navigate. Each site also includes a storage shed. The newer section also has a walking trail around the field and a duck pond. The park did not allow Amazon/FedX/UPS deliveries, and the gated access was not secure. The online resident portal for long-term guests was easy and convenient for park information and payments.
