⸻ Site 16 (Premium Riverfront) We just stayed here and wanted to share an honest review for fellow RVers. Pros: • The campground itself is very well taken care of — clean, landscaped, and decorated really cute for fall, which gave it a welcoming feel. • Staff were friendly and helpful, always quick with a smile. • The surrounding area is great, lots to see and do nearby. Cons (specific to our stay at Site 16): • We booked a premium riverfront site, but the spacing left a lot to be desired. Our spot was right on top of our neighbors — so much so that we couldn’t comfortably open our door or blinds without feeling like we were staring into their camp, and vice versa. Definitely no privacy. • We noticed dog feces in multiple areas of the campground that hadn’t been picked up, which was disappointing. • A few trailers down, campers were smoking, and because the sites are so close together the smell drifted right to us. Not pleasant at all. Overall: It’s a nicely maintained campground with friendly staff and a cute atmosphere, but if you’re looking for space and privacy, I’d be cautious about booking the premium riverfront sites — especially Site 16. Hopefully management can address the spacing and cleanliness issues, because with a few changes this could be an outstanding place to stay.

Greenbrier Campground was spectacular! We stayed 7 nights traveling from Maine and enjoyed Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park from there. Great location, friendly staff, exceptionally well kept grounds and spotless bathroom facilities. I highly recommend this campground!

100% Recommend This Campground! We came for a week from Texas and stayed in a deluxe cabin—it was perfect! The cabin backed right up to beautiful woods and a creek, which felt like having our own private retreat. Every morning we sipped our campfire coffee while listening to the birds, and our dogs practically lived in the creek and river (they were in the water 99% of the time!). We had friends meet us in Tennessee from Canada it’s a great halfway point for us! They stayed in their RV and we had the cabin! It was fun hopping from one campsite to the other. One of the highlights was tubing down the river…so much fun! We recommend bringing your own tube or grabbing one from the store on-site. The rapids were exciting but still relaxing, and the scenery was absolutely gorgeous. Even when we ventured out, the drives were so scenic that we didn’t mind the extra time in the car. When it came time to head home, about three hours into our drive back to Texas we realized we had left a cowboy hat behind. We immediately emailed the campground, and they responded so quickly! They shipped it back to us right away, which we are so grateful for. We can’t wait to come back…already counting down the days until our next trip!

This campground is so clean, landscaped beautiful with large sites on the water. Had new shower house, inflatables for the kids and nice playgrounds. We spent a week here and loved every minute of it. Such a relaxing and quiet place out of the way but close to everything. We will definitely be back.

We loved camping at Greenbrier! It is a very clean and well kept campground. The river is right beside the sites, so that was awesome. It was nice not to walk very far to go tubing. It has a nice playground for the children. You can also rent a golf cart, which we enjoyed very much, since we had small children. The swimming area was fun, with a rock you could jump off into the water. Our only complaint was the camping sites were so close together. We will definitely be back!

Quiet, clean, family friendly campground. Sites are a little close together, but not to the point you feel encroached upon. Plenty of activities set up for kids. Location is just far enough out of town to avoid the crazy but be accessible to the park with a short drive.

The campground was beautiful and we had a great time! There are so many activities for kids to do, so we really loved that. Pretty convenient to the Gatlinburg strip. The public bathroom/shower was very nice

My family and I enjoyed our stay! I had two pups with me and we had fun going to the creek every morning when we woke up. We came last minute so there were no riverside tent sites available, so we made the best of the site we had. It was spring break so it was pretty crowded, and I felt like I was camping in the middle of a parking lot sometimes. But overall, the amenities were great! If you can, try to book ahead of time. The national park is around the corner, and there was beauty to be seen every where. I would recommend driving around to see the beautiful nature, or take a day to hike as well! Even walking around the campground was beautiful. To be honest we had plans for doing tourist stuff around downtown Gatlinburg but we ended up not doing them because the nature around the campground had already nourished our souls enough. I loved how this campsite is dog friendly. There is a small dog park by the entrance. The staff was also dog friendly - they greeted my pups! A lot of the campers around were also walking their dogs ☺

My wife and I stayed here for the first time. The staff could not be more inviting and friendly!! This is greatly appreciated. The campgrounds are incredibly detailed and cared for and the shower houses are amazingly clean , functional and private . There is a river that runs around the property that is simply gorgeous!

This campground has been one of our favorites & I previously gave it 5 stars. It's a great location being close to Gatlinburg but still far enough out of town to be secluded. The sites are great & the staff has been excellent over the past 3 or 4 years we have spent time there, BUT, their prices have neatly tripled for the same time frame that we go every year. I believe they are using some kind of booking algorithms similar to hotels that increase rates based on booking activity. There are to many really nice campgrounds in the same area to pay that kind of price. I'm sorry to say that we probably won't be back. 😕
