Don't be late on your lot payment or they rip all your belongings off your lot without properly getting vehicle road ready, they did an ungodly amount of damage to our trailer and destroyed our property that was on our lot by throwing it all in a pile under our deck that they chopped into peices. All this after they let their staff take their pick of our property like the owners brother stealing our bridge and whatever else they wanted. Was also told our property was under surveillance that it would be safe but when finally let on property to inspect our belongings found out they lied and our trailer among others was broken into and robbed. Tried numerous times to retrieve property but was denied access multiple times. Stay here at your own risk. Old man has been at this campground since he was 20 yrs old and is now 51.. new management has ruined what was once a fun place to be. These are some of the damages that were done and the last picture is of our bridge that I put many hours of labor and money into making in the owners brothers yard. So ask yourself do you want to stay where the owners family steals from their campers?

Don't get me wrong its a nice campground I enjoyed the 12 hours of being there and spending time with my family but when I pulled up I told them I was spending the night in my dad camper because I drove 2 hours away to camp and spend time with family but I got a call at 11:40pm telling me I had to leave and I was surprised like wait I told u guys saying that I was spending the night well because my dad doesn't have a seasonal pass ur not allowed to have a over night guess even tho I already paid for it. Well the lady proceeded to tell me saying either A. I can pay $125 for a empty lot and stay in my dad camper B. I can leave so now I'm in my grandpa's driveway sleeping outside in my car because I don't want to wake him up and also I didn't wanta drive home because I'm tired I worked from 7-10 for finalizing a job I'd say they got some very strick rules

Read reviews before going! What we thought would be a fun experience turned into crappy weekend! While the staff in the rec room and a couple staff members at the gate were very friendly, respectful, helpful others not so much. Pool attendant very rude, snappy, absolutely not friendly to children. Clapping her hands constantly at children. My three year old granddaughter was afraid to go back to the pool because of the “ not so nice lady!” Train conductor very rude. A lot of yelling rules. Bathrooms were meh. Lady cleaning the bathroom was very rude when telling us to use a different bathroom. Way too many non-sense rules. If you’re looking for a family friendly campground this is not it. Perfect for 70+. Education in customer service is a must for their staff. First time going and will absolutely be our last. Waste of money.

We haven't been here in a longtime before this last week. I would go to say years. We bought a new camper and decided to visit for 4 nights. It has changed a lot. I will get the bad out of the way. The roads are tight and the dumb station could use 2 dumb drains vs 1 plus it would be nice to have more things for kids to do. But with that said they do have a lot of things for kids to do on the weekend. When my kids were little I would have things to do for them as a family event and while a lot of parents say kids need to be kids I still made my kids behave. I was reading the reviews before going and I would not let my kids run in the pool area or jump in the pool. Safety is important. I personal have seen kids get really hurt. Plus I didn't let my kids run everywhere. They do have rules but we have been camping for over 40 years and the rules are the same in state parks along with upscale campgrounds. I will say 10 mph is high, most places are a strict 5 mph. We had a great time. The lady's that ran the pool were great and very nice to my wife and granddaughter. They even had toys for her to play with. Everyone including the Staff and the seasonal residents were very nice. The spots are large and there is a lot to do. We did rent a golf cart mainly because I do spoil my wife LOL. but it is a large place. We will be back and might even tray and get a seasonal spot since we have been to so many places and it close to our home. Give this place a chance. We had a great time, felt safe, and welcomed.

What seems like a beautiful campground turned into a horror week. Tons of rules not on their website or posted you couldn’t even imagine. Old people patrolling yelling at you. We found out they are under new management and it is a complete nightmare. Staff yelling at you following you into bathrooms standing outside of stalls. We have electric bikes and turned them off (battery dead) and still yelled at telling us to remove the batteries. Yelling at kids in pool screaming over our special needs children. Yelling at people for every little tiny thing. If someone is checking in you have to Wait for however long it takes to enter and they will yell at you if you go around. Driveway full of pot holes. Everything is closed all week for the kids except the pool and beach. Can’t drop off kayaks anywhere to get to lake you have to pull them hundreds of feet across the sand even though there is a road that goes around to the side of the beach, with no posted signs you will get yelled at for driving on. It’s like walking on egg shells you don’t know what you’re going to do wrong next. No one had their animals on a leash just running through our campsite all week but not allowed to put up a gate or playpen. We were looking no for a new campground to bring our children to yearly but this will never ever happen again for us to come back here. 80% of the workers are completely rude and will drive up and down the roads looking for things to yell at you for. We literally have been hiding inside of our camper for the last part of our stay in fear to do something else wrong. We are all about following rules but they are not even posted. We had to Request a printed copy and were blown away by two pages of fine print rules that go on and on and on. I highly do not recommend coming here if you are an outgoing person you will most likely get screamed at. They don’t even give you a chance and explain things they just scream at you and start radioing for backup. Not much shade on sites. Fleas on floor of bathroom at pool bath house, smelled of urine and did not appear cleaned daily, and very hot. Not sure why but every time you leave they check your tag in the dash. Don’t bring a golf cart if you’re under 25 it’s another rule that makes no sense. Kids can’t have hover boards or scooters. The staff threatens campers to “throw the out” if they don’t do exactly what they say, we heard it all week and were told this also. We will NEVER be back and we camp all over the country, sad.
